What a rant about Go. Phenomenal.

I actually watched the Go documentary after he went on his rant about it. Luckily I turned the volume down in the podcast mid-rant as he was clearly about to spoil the whole thing - I'd highly recommend it!

Cheers will try a selection of them! Url won't work for most of the others. It's a pity Spotify don't support adding a podcast by url

He didn't spoil it, it was news. Events that happened and were written about. :D

When I saw people here and on twitter going on about his rant I was expecting it to be not as good as it actually was. 10/10, would listen again.

'Cheer up? How about you ****ing wake up!'

That part was amazing, the suppressed '****' had a lot of anger in it.

I often wonder if Ken is as miserable as he lets on. I was in Vegas at one of the McGregor fights and he was sat in the same bar as me, I didn’t bother approaching him due to his cantankerous persona but I often wonder if we might have ended up going on the piss together for the night!

I'd say he's a rather quiet person in general, the pod is just his forum for putting everything out there.

Seems like he would have cheered up if you bought him a pint

Was FA cup third round day the first time we heard Ken's gooooooooals? Went on for about 20 mins. Bring that back, that's what I say.

Really good Tonya Harding chat today. Looking forward to that film now.

From that jingle i can't stop saying in work "this guy is a bit of a turkey" but as I work in England it's totally lost on them.

If you'd told me a week ago that I'd be checking tv listings for figure skating while muttering 'hon Tipp'...

Ken giving up the fags is the gift that keeps on giving, that Russian oligarch dream was hilarious.

The Peter O'Connor story last week was brilliant, I've said it before but I love when they do obscure items like that.

Appropriately icy between Ken and your one at times.

Yeah she didn't react too well to Ken questioning her.

The way she was talking you would think the film was a miles off in terms of accuracy

Ken analyzing Xavis interview is hilarious

Today's interview with Jelena Dokic is excellent, albeit slightly harrowing. Her father was some piece of work. This is the kind of material which I am happy to pay for, hopefully they can do more of these "specialist" pieces from now on.

Standard since the new year has been excellent.

Apart from a bit of a lull at Christmas (which is fair enough), they've been really great for a few months now.

I mean, they've always been great, but they got some sort of spring in their step a few months back, I think.

Just listened to the show about Tonya Harding. That journalist they had on really irked me. She continually went on about how she's a journalist, she's reporting the truth, she hasn't anything against Harding, but she clearly displayed a bias against her. I don't know much about the story, I'm sure she (Harding) was a bad egg, but why wouldn't the reporter own that? Ken was right to try and get stuck in, it got hard to listen to towards end...

I'd agree with that. Probably hard for them to feel out initially going to that many shows a week but they definitely have got into the groove now. It's well worth the subscription for me.

Hmm. You say get in the groove, I might argue it could be traced directly back to the return of Murph's Country Pages.

Yeah I think Ken noticeably backed off toward the end, she made his point for him when she mentioned how funny she thought it was that Tonya misheard a place name and when called out on it had no retort other than to say she thought she was an excellent athlete. I saw a documentary on it years ago, might have been a 30 for 30 and Tonya definitely was aware of what was happening, this revisionist history in the film seems odd to me. Unless new evidence has come to light since then.

Must go see the film actually.

EDIT: So much for years ago, came out in 2014 http://www.espn.com/30for30/film?page=thepriceofgold

Cant post the link on mobile but read last night that Tonya's manager quit as she insisted all journalists that wanted to interview her had to sign an agreement that they couldn't ask her about "the past" and had to pay her 25k if they did. She seems like quite a piece a work

Yeah, unsubscribed late December, thought the standard took a complete nose dive and the lack of political pods and players chairs annoyed me.
Gives me more time to catch up with Casefile and Court Junkies!

Yeah been some great pods the last 2 weeks. Ken should give up the fags more often.
