I think they were on this evening in fact as I could intermittently pick up oldies music on that frequency. If you are wondering, it is on one of my car radio presets when I switch bands so it's not like I go to loads of trouble or anything! The reception was variable - quite a bit of interference.

Heat still had no rds on saturday, are they even aware that they have no rds?

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,875 ✭✭✭JDxtra

They do, but it's not configured correctly - which is why it doesn't work most of the time. If anybody from the station is on here I can tell them what the problem is.

Are EASY Dublin 93.2 getting ready for a big launch? Heard an on air dj just before 4 followed by a string of new jingles.

Just had a listen to OpenTempoFM's stream, they were off air and offline breefly last friday night till saturday morning and since they came back on they seem to be having audio issues which are getting worse by the day, hopefully this will be sorted soon as audio issues aside they are a great outfit whose diverse and varied programming, which includes a specialist Polish pop music show and even live coverage of local sporting events, is a decent and valued community service to Waterford city and an alternative to repetitive WLR.

Alls fine on Opentempofm now online and on 105.1fm tonight, although signal seemed weaker.

Spirit might want to see where the audio has been on their left channel in Dundalk for the last year or so on 90.4

yes they are. their facebook will give the details of frequencies, when they are live etc.. https://www.facebook.com/LaserHotHits/

ticking a box on a form does not make you of a religion.

Fairly good reception at times on 4029kHz. There's some sort of (possibly Russian) channel marker on 4020kHz that's an issue at times.

Recieving dab on outskirts of Athlone, is this likely to be the Three Rock tx or somewhere else?

The length of time Klub has stayed on air at this stage is impressive. Compared to Kiss FM 10-15 years ago.

That's true, i dont think they had any dealings with comreg up to the other day despite having a professional setup and running on high power.

Xfm 87.6 the best music. Not sure where its from. I'm in lacken Wicklow.. Also pick up limerick's live95 95.00fm

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,009 ✭✭✭Declan A Walsh

I did a quick scan this evening near Dundrum and I got the following:
    91.6 - Phever - good reception
93.2 - Easy Radio - just about tolerable reception, but better than usual
    99.5 - Heat - good reception.
Over the weekend, I also picked up Energy Power on 1395kh on MW.

Is that it for Dublin or are there the usual low-power stations around west Dublin like Chill (or NLR) on 87.6 (on weekends) and at least one, maybe two, on 105.7?

The pirate selection in Dublin has gone very poor .it's a real shame At one stage I could fill the pre set in my car with high powered stations . Phever seems to be the only high powered left . Have to say I'm missing nrg , tonik and the classic dance station rince. Hopefully someone will fill the gap soon
