There was one WD a few years back from Tiger where they showed him driving home for a couple of miles...

Pity, don't like him but sad to see.
    Next.

    He has nice wheels though.

No, I'm not a big fan either, but I dislike all this. Hopefully that's the end of it now.

Very disappointing for Tiger and for the game in general. I don't particularly like the guy and the blanket coverage is grating to say the least but a fit and firing Tiger is box office and brings a level of excitement to regular tour events that just aren't there otherwise.

Plus, with the supporting cast is probably better now than it ever was in his career, it would be fun to see how a fit Tiger would stack up against them. Obviously Rory is out on his own but the experienced 30-something major winners (Kaymer, Bubba, Scott, Rose), the American young guns (Speith, Fowler, Reed, Koepka) and old man Phil is a great mix for which Tiger is probably the final piece of the jigsaw.

I do think that his move away from Foley was possibly the start of him recognising that his body can't do the things it used to in his swing but clearly he still has a long way to go.

    Bored of this golf already!

I wonder what the traffic is like for Tiger!?
Could be heavy enough I'd say

Hope he has Bluetooth in the Panamera. Wonder has Joe ever driven the thing?

    Very sad.

    Said it last week.

If he is getting a new coach.

What should his number 1 priority be.

Stay healthy in back. He was swinging like a head-case last week - like a 25 year old.handicapper

    FYP :)

Was Bill Murray the actor in the crowd at the 9th tee box?

Christ the coverage is getting worse too, just turned it back on. Yanks telling us some tree is a rare species followed by waiting on the tee box for the fairway to clear. Is there nobody playing on both courses??!!

Brooks Koepka putting for eagle on 18 and walks off with a 7. A 5 putt. That's gotta hurt.

That was incredible stuff......he rushed it all, didn't mark the ball when he should have. Won't make that mistake again.

Ironic that when we were getting live coverage of Tiger's parking space on Thursday, Koepka was burning it up. When he finally gets on camera, he goes and does that!
    Good player though.

^^ Don't remember seeing any of Jason Day's round either last night... joint lowest of the day. And Shane wasn't far off it at -5 and the same for him.

Anyway, someone highlights here including Paddy's eagle (forget about the 8 bogeys and 1 double) and also the count to ten moment from Koepka.

Have a couple of quid on Day so hoping for a good final round for himself and Lowry

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Some start from Lowry. 3 under thru 7. Hope he keeps it up and sets a decent target.

Fog rolling in and wind picking up might help Lowry. Hopefully we won't get any delays though.

Do the PGA do a live stream of this tournament?

Love watching the yanks trying to play in wind. Giving out and moaning about 15mph winds :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,076 ✭✭✭✭PARlance

Was just about to say the same, if Shane could get in at -8 it'd be a decent score. They're all struggling.

    .

Love the quote from Phil at the end about his putting: "beyond pathetic" I'm sure there isn't a golfer on the planet that hasn't had those days!

That 4th is playing like the 3rd in Corballis on a windy day, driver 3 wood and still not on the green :D

Looks like you got your wish. 4 man playoff.
Think Holmes made the right decision to lay up on 18.
