    What ever happened to the trick-shots/gaffs compilation they used to show during the finals/semi final intervals. Dont remember seeing one for years.

    Oh, and what was Ronnie aledged to have done during his semi final, and which he got warned for.

    Looks like my bet is dead. At least now I can try and enjoy the final. Still think Ronnie will win it but it's nice to see Hawkins doing well. He seems like a nice fella.

    I was rooting for Hawkins in the last frame but I think ultimately that score was a fair reflection on today's play.

    I much prefer Eurosport's commentary and coverage to BBC. BBC's coverage is very sugar coated and family orientated. When i watch a serious sporting event i just want to be given it straight and without the over the excited commentators, gimmicks and nonsense cliches you get with the BBC coverage.

    Looks like Ronnie can raise his came when it suits him - sign of a true champ. However, I still give Hawkins a chance. Close it to 2 frames and hold that through tomorrows afternoon session ans the pressure will begin to build on Ronnie. It's then we will see the results of Dr. Stevens work with him.

    What about Dennis Taylor and his constant reference to the 'cannon' during his commentary and all of them are forever on about the unique 'pressure ' of the crucible. Does anyone else think I o'Sullivan is obnoxious great talent but as a person up there with Alex Higgins in the personality stakes.

    'what a knowledgeable crowd we have in here tonight' gives me the willies by taylor but he is my favourite commentator and former player...his celebration after his 85 win still makes me laugh.
