That's a waste of money that is, so it is.

What do you think is a waste of money that others don't?

    Me?

New cars - depreciation is ridiculous. (Check out the bangernomics thread).

Having to get the latest €500 phone and upgrade every year.

Expensive toiletries. Shure it gets washed down the plug hole doesn't it?

Going for a meal pissed - what a waste. Burger or kebab suffices when drunk.

    Y'all?

    Expensive meals full stop.

I'll go because my partner likes it, but just don't see the point myself.

Toilet paper. I prefer to use socks and throw them in with the washing or if it's a runny one, I relieve myself in the shower.

Extended warranties, if it survives the first year, chances are it will last its lifetime - whatever time the manufactures decide that is (usually shorter than you'd like).

I never thought of that. You can get multiple applications from the same garment as opposed to one or at the best two uses from a single sock.

Flashy and expensive brand name deodorants. The air fresheners in the 2 euro shop smell much nicer and last twice as long.

Most brand meats, the "own brands" are from the same fricken factories. Paying €9 for a chicken you can get with Tesco on the label instead for €4! MADNESS!!!!! It's the same. My partner went to a meat factory, he saw how it is done first hand! All the one what you buy, minus the difference of a fiver!

Sky Movies, Same shíte on everyday for a week! I got it for 6 months for a complaint for free. 1-3 good movies a week, all of them on Film4 so meant fúck all!

Expensive phones, I am sorry, but people feel they have to get the newest one, which is every 6-12 months, for 100's I have a shít pile I have had for 4 years! Left it in a coffee shop the other day, so shítty, it was still there when I came back looking for it!!!!

Then there is all this BS around having kids too! People buying 900-1200e travel systems (buggies for kids usually up to 2 years old), are you for fúcking real? That's beyond insane.

Designer label clothes, can't understand paying extra for a brand name. Better quality I'd pay extra for but a fookin logo, never.
