Georgian #12 Merab Sharikadze just named man of the match

Born 1993! Only 20 years old, and no club interested by him? Too bad...

    Are you his agent? :)

Ahah no I'm not. But I follow him since he is 18 (he played for Hartpury College), seen his progress, from Hartpury College to Gloucester U19 to national team. He ended his studies if I'm right, he has to leave Hartpury and England, he just back Georgia but I think he deserve to play in a higher championship, especially as 20 years-old... He can still improve

I'd agree. He was very good today. Strong in defence and made a couple of good carries. At 20 he could certainly be a good addition to a few professional clubs looking for a solid 12

David O'Callaghan on the bench? I thought he missed out on the squad. Interesting that he is the secondrow replacement.

who came through leinster schools :P:P

Not comfortable with the second row or centres. Its pairings that I wouldn't trust in a B&I cup game.

Ironic. It's a pairing that won the B&I cup.

Reid may be an issue, but when Macken steps down a level he can be devastating. No idea what level this will be played at mind you, but he was a try scoring machine in the B&I cup for Leinster, definitely one of our most important players.

Good to see Nagle in, and DOC.2 on the bench, always thought he was a second row tbh

Dave O'Callaghan is in for Stevenson who is gone home due to illness. Looking forward to seeing McKeon off the bench.

Reid is a much better 12 than 10, but I wouldn't hold out much hope for him ever really making it. Macken could have fun depending on the level of the oppo.

Any reason why Diack and Griffin have asterisks next to their names but noone else?

Not sure why on the above post but on the IRFU website they all have asterisks except Keatley, Ruddock and Bent because they have been capped.

and i didn't trust them then, may they continue to surprise me.

I don't know on the IRFU website a lot of players have asterixes (all bar Bent) and it denotes uncapped players
