Did I see somewhere it’s supposed to be on Netflix?

I read a post on Reddit alright that said that it was on Netflix (UK) but that you need to enter the full name for it to appear. I haven't verified this myself as I watched it from elsewhere

It was one big cringy mess. Though the song performed by Ru on the main stage (the first one) was actually quite catchy so might download it. The rest of the show I could leave. Poor Sonique. Probably thought this was going to be her moment to get back in the spotlight and then she got... this. And that ending.... gurl.

Ugh I’m sorry I looked it up it was kinda painful. Just a 40 min ad for Ru’s Christmas album.

It wasn't great was it? I have to say though, when Ru came out in that purple dress she looked incredible.

Ru looked good in this episode. Delta and Raven are getting better, but there's still something off about her mug and wigs. They have a way to go before they match Mathu's high standards.

So, have we seen All Stars 4 episode 1 yet? What do we think?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,712 ✭✭✭Hrududu

Jury's still out for me. Still think it's too soon after All Stars 3. And as much as I like Monet I am done with the sponges. I hope she isn't going to beat this brown cow to death.

Delighted to see Latrice and Manila again though.

I thought the holiday special was fun. If you didn't expect an actual episode of Drag Race (which I didn't tbh) then it's a bit fun and campy. I thought the musical numbers were fun.

RE: AS4. I was glad with who got sent home, she was always going to be the weakest in that line-up.

I'd forgotten how much I love to hate Gia. :pac:

    I felt AWFUL for
Farrah, I have friends who do burlesque and that's every performers nightmare. But it's why you learn floorwork, when you fall you make it into something, and try not to let it get to you.

My money is on Monique, Latrice or Trinity. I bloody love Trinity.

Episode 3 was accidentally leaked! Not a shock who went home

Didn’t enjoy the new version of Snatch- hope it was just a once off! I did enjoy Gus Kenworthy though!!

I haven't seen Episode 3 but Gus Kenworthy....

<Insert GIF of Jinkx grinding on a couch whilst orgasming violently that I can't find online for some reason>

OK, I've now seen episode 3. Jesus, Gus Kenworthy is a very beautiful man. He looks identical to the guy in that Australian pro-marriage equality ad. I have a new crush.

But, as far as episode 3 is concerned...
Jesus, Gia, what the hell were you doing? That was one literal trainwreck of a performance. I'm kinda glad you went home but also disappointed Manila didn't take the opportunity to be the real controversial queen and send the strong competition home. The preview for Episode 4 looks like a similar situation may arise again but the roles reversed. Will be interesting to seewho survives that...

Lads, I have to admit - it is getting very difficult to see beyond Valentina as the winner.

I mean, Trinity is good value, and to a slightly lesser extent Manila is too, but Valentina is really showing that she is the star she always said she was. I mean, the way she has done her own personal, separate catwalk entrance at the beginning of each episode is so so extra, but it is really funny, she oozes charisma from every pore and she is always as stylish as ****.

And Gus Kenworthy - well, looking that good should be a crime because it is literally painful how hot he is.

It's between Valentina and Trinity for me - never have I ever swapped my opinion on someone so fast before but Val is killing it, mainly because she's so extra, and blatantly extra. It's golden.

I'm so disappointed in Latrice and Manilia to be honest, like it all seems very lackluster from them - could have done with two other queens who've yet to had a chance. Or give Jasmine another week and have no eliminations first week, Idk.

The Gia debacle on social media this week is a bit of a reach - I'm not sure how so many queens can go on a platform Ru built from the basement up and say things like "He didn't speak to me, or say how proud he is of me" etc. etc. Girl if I was making a full time living off of a spot he gave me in the first place, I'd be kissing his padding.

Gia has ALWAYS gotten on my nerves. This year was no different. Her sh*t stirring with Farrah was SO blatant it was actually amusing.

I agree re: Manilla & Latrice. I actually think it was a big BIG risk for them to go on All-Stars, as they've really got nothing to prove but quite a lot to loose. I did think Manillas lip-sync last week was amazing though. That start was incredible. She won the lipsync as soon as she went to the back of the stage and swooned!

I've really turned around with Valentina, she has a twinkle in her eye that lets you know she actually doesn't take herself too seriously anymore - and I like that.

Valentina is acting like a character in a telenovela and I am here for it!

I feel the difference between s9 Valentina and AS4 Valentina is it almost feels like she's in on the joke now, if that makes sense? Like I feel like she thought she was her character in s9 but now that she knows she's portraying a telenovela-style persona she can amp it up more and we're all finding it better?

    Hey guys, new user here.

Just wanna say that this is definitely between Trinity and Valentina.

The reason Valentina might win over Trinity is her new found mainstream exposure, being cast in Rent live and all.

So far the season has been quite boring though. Hopefully the twist tomorrow will actually be good.

Do you guys think RPDR is losing its charm? Specially for those watching since season 2?

I think it's probably past its peak but I enjoyed last season more than the two or three before it, so not totally out of steam yet.

Haven't watched any of the new AllStars though.

The draw has been made for the Australian Open, Murray is up against Bautista-Agut, I can't see him winning that there are reports that he struggled through a practice game with Djokovic the other day. I wouldn't be surprised if he pulls out. Federer plays Istomin that could be a potential banana skin for Federer if he is not on his game. Nadal plays Jack Duckworth, hard to call this one since Nadal hasn't played, would expect Nadal to come through but he could be there for taking if Duckworth has the balls to go for it. Edmund plays Berdych which will be an interesting one. Djokovic plays a qualifier in the first round and then could potentially play Tsonga in the second round.

Don't know if anyone listens to Bob the Drag Queen and Monet Xchange's podcast 'Sibling Rivalry', but it seemed like on the Christmas Eve episode Monet let out an accidental spoiler as to who the winner of the All stars 4 was.

I know the regular seasons they film three alternative endings and the one that actually airs is the winner, so I suppose the same is prolly true of All stars but definitely seemed like she had let the cat out of the bag by accident.

Why have you quoted two posts about tennis/football?

Sports? In my Drag Race thread?! :-O

Manila is the Ben De La Creme of this season- she’s killing it.

Sorry, lol, I have quite a strange mix of interests, I suppose!

Manilla is one of, if not my favourite queen ever, but for me right now based on the show I am hoping Trinity takes the crown. I think she is the one who has grown most, clearly prepared very well for the show, is funny, capable of incredibly looks and great lip-syncer.

I love Valentina too, never thought she took herself too seriously. That said, I feel she is still coasting on pretty and just 'being Valentina'.

Love Monique Heart. So funny. Not mad on the make-up and some of the outfits are just indicative of bad taste, the glamour look (something from season 3/4!? and Little Red Riding HOOD).

Bored with Bob 2. Disappointed in Latrice... seems like she thought it would be a coronation... no girl. 'You betta work'.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,620 ✭✭✭Rick_

Valentina is deluded if she thinks simply playing the role of "Valentina" will get her the win. Her entrance every day where she poses and lists her outfit is really starting to become more annoying than cute, if it ever was cute. Villian-tina indeed.

Trinity is improving and showing she's a funny queen, and then goes and bombs a comedy challenge. Go figure.

Monique is getting on my last nerve, America. That shrill voice/laugh/scream coupled with some horrible make-up choices... gurl.

Manila is the front-runner to win this now with 3 wins in a row. Turning out great looks on the runway, great performances in challenges and is a funny and likeable queen.

Naomi is pretty. That's about it. I honestly forgot she was in the competition. She has done nothing of note and will be gone in the next week or two.

Monet X Change is gonna lose any hope of me supporting her if she wears another leotard on the runway or in a challenge. Seriously, does she only have one silhouette? Bad enough the sponge was drilled into the ground but now we have awful outfits to contend with.

    Regarding the latest episode -
I'm assuming Manila and Monet must choose a queen to lip sync each and then Ru picks the winner of that and they get to return and the returning queen gets to choose an existing queen to go home. That could get very interesting. I assume Manila will obviously pick Latrice and Monet may pick either Ferrah or Jasmine. I can't see anyone wanting to pick Gia to return. I wonder who they would pick to go home. Could we see Valentina or Trinity go home i a shock elimination?

I was kind of happy to see
    Valentina
    go...

Coasting and the schtick wears real thin very quickly if you don't have the skills to back it up.

    Hated the lypsync this week.

The song was and should have been a great lip-sync. Trinity's outfit was in really poor taste for me to enjoy it properly...
