Went to a wedding with Mr. Boyfriend yesterday in Spanish Point and am feeling every bit of it today. I actually think alcohol is seeping out my pores :(

Just popping in Loungers to say thanks for all the well-wishes! We had a fantastic day, so much love and support in the room for us! Everyone commented on how it was one of the most relaxed weddings they'd been to :) We're off to a fancy spa now for a couple of days. Here's a quick pic for those asking:

Funnily enough, it's pretty much exactly the style I'd want! :pac:

Honeypie Boutique if you're looking :pac:

I had an absolutely ****e run, killed by the heat really. :(

Finished in 61 mins (11 mins slower than my 10km PB) and capped it all off by ending up in the Order of Malta tent after the finish line as I was very short of breath. Knew I was fecked from about 3-4km, and just couldn't get the legs moving from about 6-7km onwards. Down with that sort of thing.

Would a pay cheque not go through because of the Bank Holiday?

Congrats Dolbert! Your dress and hair look beautiful. :)

Did the mini-marathon earlier. Absolutely wrecked now, but still buzzing!

The silent end credits were a good idea. Needed that 30 seconds to process.

Snap! How did you find it? I'm so tired but so proud of myself!

Dolbert - congratulations! You looked gorgeous! :)

A friend of mine, who knows I've read the books, just text me there saying 'you could have told me!'

I just watched The Great Gatsby. I adore Leonardo DiCaprio and his performance didn't disappoint but did he REALLY have to say "old sport" every. five. seconds?! My only complaint about a great movie. The dresses on display were fabulous too. I want a black beaded flapper dress ERMAGERD.
Also found a rake of Boots vouchers under my desk today. They expire next week! D: I need new sunglasses anyways so time for a quick shopping trip!

I'm pretty wrecked myself! Finished it in around 2 hours. A friend and I walked, but we've decided to run next year!
Had the sun cream with me and had to slap it on every few kilometres. It was so hot out!

I heard that one of those dresses was so heavy that Carey Mulligan had to take it off after every take!

I don't understand the fuss around GoT. There must be some reason why it's so popular but I don't get it.

If it's not there in the morning I'll be very annoyed. I moved into a place with a friend. He's happy to wait for me to get paid for the rent but I don't like not being told there could be problems with my wages.

I spent most of the time trying to get into the shady side of the road... but it wasn't enough. Think the fact that it's been so cold up until very recently didn't help either, still training in long-sleeve tops up until mid-May so a day like today is a bit of a shock to the system.

There's a 10k race on not too far from my OH's place when I'm over there again in 3 weeks time, if the weather cooperates I may do that.

Also happened me, I very nearly almost filled my car with diesel on what should have been payday but my hands were too cold, so I stopped at €20... Unknown to me, that's all I had in my account because I wasn't told my salary hadn't gone through. WTF would have happened if I'd filled up?!

Fair play to everyone who walked/jogged/ran the mini marathon.
I was a spectator last year and this year I did post-race massage. I always get a bit emotional at seeing the t-shirts and all the charities people do it for, or doing for the memory of people. It's so nice. I'd love to be able to run 10km. :o Maybe next year.

    I'm still processing.

I found a whole rake of Boots vouchers I'd forgotten about. They expire on the 9th of June so I better grab myself some new sunglasses before they expire! D:

I'm not too sure of my time but think it was just under the 2 hours. Was thinking of jogging next year myself. If I don't I'm definitely going to try beat this year's time. The heat was unreal!

Morning all. I have come to the conclusion that I am most defiantely not a morning person. I need to find a job that allows me to work from 12 to 4 every day but get paid for a full time job!

If I wear this with nude tights and heels what kind of cardigan thing do I wear on top... I think white would look perfect with the navy but duno would it agree with the shoes...

p.s. well done to everyone doing the 10k yesterday. I did a 5k once. ONCE
    :(:p

I can jog for 3 mins. Maybe next year :D
