    Fanks lady :)

I'm in a whingy mood. My landlady is demanding another month's rent from me; it's a long story but it's not the kind of money we have lying around. Don't know what to do really.

What a great way to spend a dreary day! *Jealous*

A few months ago I said "I'd love to work seven days a week" I was a fool. A FOOL.

It was fantastic. I'd been saying to OH for ages that I wanted to revamp our bedroom so we got new pillows and bedlinen a month ago, and it is just the loveliest comfiest place to be :)

Having experienced working seven days a week 3 out of five weeks in a row, I've no desire to ever do so again.

Go all lawyer on her ass. Has she got you registered with the PRTB? That usually freaks the crap out of them. :P

They're really comfy and cushiony and easy to walk in (I have flat feet and wonky/hypermobile ankles, so I'm utterly bad at walking in anything tough and even I can do it)! :D

I'll be wearing them to work anyway.

What do you guys wear on your feet on holidays on sightseeing days - you know, lots of walking around for a full day? I'm thinking flip flops won't be good enough but my usual shoes are a bit clunky to wear with a sundress. Any suggestions?! I have a week to get something and break them in.

I always wear flip flops. Rip curl are really comfy. I am only bringing 7 pairs of sandals on holidays. Very proud of myself

I doubt it, one tenant is her daughter and the other is her daughter's best friend. It's a my word versus her situation, but the rent comes out of my dad's account so he's going to talk to her. Hopefully it'll get sorted soon anyway.

Strawberries and cream for dessert, nom :D

I have a pair of hush puppies sandals that i wore a lot last summer when i got my cast off, aside from the strap digging into my hugely swollen ankle, they were very comfortable and didn't need to be broken in. Lot of support in them for a pair of sandals. Bought them on schuh.ie but i know they have them in debenhams as well.

Converse or runners, comfort uber alles.

White canvas runners - like these http://www.famousfootwear.com/Mobile/ProductDetail.aspx?p=83899

Surprising nice with shorts and skirts and give more support than sandals. Got a grand pair in Penneys yesterday for 4euro.

    Happy birthday ladies :)

Thanks for the suggestions. Trying to balance getting something very practical (aka most likely ugly) with something that will look really cute (but not wreck my feet). It's difficult!!

Plain white runners/converse or a pair of leather flip flops I have that are not really flip flops but broader than them

Happy birthday Das and Lola :)

Brought my wedding dress back to the family home this weekend, no harm as I've been amusing myself by trying it on every few days... well I may as well get my money's worth!

I've just realised exactly whats wrong with me.

Now just to figure out how to fix it, or at least fix it in my head.

Can I get in on that??

I've found a good point about spending the day studying at the kitchen table. Every 5 minutes I'm moisturising and I plan to keep going until my skin stops drinking it up! I'm so bold and I don't take care of my skin. It's almost shocked at the good treatment it's getting.

Although I suppose it's my own fault for living so far away from the RDS :p

    Hello Loungers,
I hope you all are well! I was away last week so didn't get to read the thread and I see you have 40 pages written! So could anyone give me a summary of events? Thanks loads!
