Ah here, I got fed up with that. They changed the G binding and now at ammo crates I get barraged with grenades instead. At first I thought 'are the enemies spamming us with grenades!?!', then I realized... it's the likes of YOU :P
    "It's my first day"

I had just come from playing arma2 wasteland, have only played a tiny bit of arma3 so far but it was great. Massive improvement in movement/feel and its looks unreal too, love the new sounds as well.

As a medic, it was an uncomfortable situation when trying to heal a friend I, out of habit, left clicked on "Heal Explosive Specialist" instead of middle clicking and shot him instead...

That key binding switch from inventory to grenades was a bit silly on their part, I mean what did they think was going to happen?

Pretty sure they knew exactly what they we doing & left it in. It's hilarious I think. You would be working away in game either looting, shooting or traveling. Next thing you will here "**** grenade" then boom. I've still only done it that one time you saw in the video though :)

Has anyone found an info graphic of the controls for Arma 3 like this one from MWO
It would be really useful as the controls are 5 tabs long in game

    Yeah, for €30 it's a steal.

Look at ArmA 2, it was released in 2009 and is still getting patched and new content and mods from the community all the time.

    Bleedin bargain!

I always buy the ARMA games even if I know I'll never get the chance to play them properly. I just love everything about the game, it's the kind of game PCs were made for. I have no problem paying to support the developer, they deserve it the scamps.

Take your time, finish Far Cry and get back to us. Unlike almost every other game out there, we will be here in 4, 5 maybe even 6 years, with fresh content and looking forward to the next update.

One of the last developers I have huge respect for

Oh I have that during the week in UL. Downloaded 8GB of Arma III in 14 minutes from Steam. It's when I go home at the weekends the fun starts...

    Startup commands still work.

    -nosplash -world=empty -skipIntro

    any more?

Also, change interface size to Very small to see more servers in the Multiplayer screen.

ARMA II really annoyed me. I wanted to like it but the jerkyness of it and the clunky menus just kept getting to me.

I picked up III after watching a few videos and I'm glad I did. Movement is much improved and the controls are much more intuitive. I'm still getting to grips with it before jumping online.
