I don't see the Canal+ Sport channels on that link? Also, do you know if the Kids and Doc channels have English audio as an option?

the kids do, discovery doesn't, national geo does.

Thanks Snaps,So all I need to do is get a Satelite installer out to install a satellite and position it to 28 degrees east, then buy a sub and I'm away and running..

Muppet 2 here-would love to know the answer, its all very confusing for the novice.I have read thru many threads on the subject and got the impression that u can have a second LNB installed and skewed towards that satellite.Anyone confirm if this is correct-Or-do u need a motorised dish.

Would really appreciate an answer from anyone in the know. Thanks in advance.

A 2nd dish or a 2nd LNB yes. A 2nd LNB though only on a suitable sized dish, a sky dish isn't really up to the job. A 80cm dish really a minimum. Also you would need a suitable receiver to receive your fta channels and then also to accept the nc+ smart card. Most combos with a smart card reader should do the job, Like the Ariva 150 etc. You will also need a simple Diseqc switch fitted behind the dish which will switch between the satellite positions from a simple command sent from the receiver. Ive got 8 LNB's connected to my receivers!

A complete list is here: Strangely it says Discovery is in English, but I may be getting confused with Discovery HD which isn't. Its also showing Disney channel's etc only in Polish, But Im nearly 100% sure there is a 2nd language option in it. I'll check.

    http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/ncplus.html

Discoverys (SD) all seem to have an English audio track. So that list seems about right.

The Discovery SD channels are all in English. Disney is in English but Disney XD is only in polish. Nat Geo HD channels are in English. Animal Planet HD is Polish only but the SD version is in English.

When I had the card last year, I had to get a CAM for the card to work in the 120 - not sure if the new card also needs a CAM.

Got the CAM from Satskelp when I bought the card

Someone mentioned above that he thinks you need an 80cm dish to pick up hotbird and astra 28. If that is so, this is what you need to get (well it will at least set you on the right track). Ive put a twin LNB there coz u said u have 2 boxes. Also get 2 diseqc switches:

No, a sat installer cannot install a satellite. Read my post above, it should help you.

If you want both nc+ (polish) and the UK free channels you need either 2 dishes or 1 dish with 2 lnbs pointed at positions 13 & 28east.

the 120 with the correct software should do the trick. As far as I know the card readers are conax to start off with. They can be turned into multi cams with a software upgrade, but beware the 120s are prone to crashing with their eeproms failing. The 150s are near enough bullet proof. Satsklep sell these receivers to use with nc+ (seca) cards. The old n cards are conax.

Yeah, STB told me about the emulater, but I didnt want to go into that.

But the card will not fit into the 120 without a CAM - so how do you get around that?

The 250 has a built in CAM - will take the card direct

    Dont know about the 150

    Nowso and Snaps,

Im sorry, Im wrong, you are right. I bought the CAM (which has Matrix written on it) to work in a Humax not the Ariva.

My apologises for getting it muddled and confusing people.

    Regards

    Iba

    No problem

I put in a 4 holder bracket coz its only €1 more expensive than the 2 holder one which you need - but for th extra euro, you can expand in the future

Wondering could someone help with some questions on these cards

    1) What country is the Eurosport channels on these cards
Eurosport France, Eurosport NE Europe, Eurosport PL
Also, is the english audio track the same as that on British Eurosport?

    2) The TNT card is a conax card and comes with a conax cam - is the cam required to use the card, or can the card be read natively in smartcard slot, or would you have to use something like osc@m?

    3) The nC+ card does not come with a cam - what would you need to read it? Can the card be read natively in smartcard slot, or would you have to use something like osc@m?

I have an XTrend ET9000 which has 2 smardcard readers as well as 2 CI slots.

No interest in football, interest is mainly in eurosport

It's Eurosport Poland but it does have English Audio. The schedule is a good bit different to British Eurosport.

I think the xtrend should read both cards. No need for a cam.

Eurosport is the pan European version. Eurosport 2 is the North East Europe version. Pretty good with 5 live Bundesliga games every weekend

Both channels are available in English

What would be cheapest package to get Eurosport. No interest in English Premiership so looking for cheapest package to get Eurosport with English audio.

Tonight, all of a sudden Canal+sport is unlocked, and new channels - C+, C+film and film2 (all inHD) are added. Given i paid only 15E/month on n na karte (prepaid) this has to be mistake. I won't give them a call, and i hope you won't too;)

BTW channels 901-904 appeared(that is where all these C+ channels are on) - i accidentally found it by pressing - on remote:D

Do you mean re scanned 13.0E? Nope but that should not make a difference

Contacted satsklep and they are trying to send out an activation code

Anyone having trouble getting their Cyfra card to update?

I usually just stick on TVP 1 or Eurosport HD but neither seems to be updating the entitlements.
