There was some ridiculous lightning deals on Amazon today. They had high capacity batteries for the gamepad at £5. Absolutely gutted that I missed that. Been wanting one for ages.

Dammit first day I hadn't checked could have done with one myself!

You had to be quick. They were gone in half an hour. It's the one left that I really need. I bought a Chinese battery on Ebay that was supposed to have even more capacity. The thing is a piece of $h1t. Anyone thinking of buying one. Don't!

Christ, all the great deals and price reductions you get for 90% of games, makes you wonder why I bother buying games at launch.

I may be imagining this, but I could have sworn I saw Splatoon for 29.99 recently in a Bricks & Mortar shop, has anyone seen this? Thinking of picking it up as a present for someone.

    Cheers!

I think you did imagine that. I've certainly not seen it at that price.

Not much of a reduction, but it's bricks n mortar so
    http://www.argos.ie/static/Product/partNumber/4572273.htm&cjsku=4572273
    Link Between Worlds for €20.99
It's not listed as the Nintendo Selects version, but the pic ain't loading for me.
Interestingly, it's in a 2 for €40 deal with the other Ninty Selects range, most of which are €20.99 so it's a massive less-than-2-quid saving. Unless you buy 2 copies of Nintendogs, which ends up costing you 2c 'cause they're €19.99

Selects version of it in Smyths for €1 less at 19.99

Does\Do The Game Collection take your money straight away on a preorder or do they wait until the game is available?

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD Without extras is £34.95 delivered at the moment.

Yoshi's Woolly World and amiibo Green Yoshi Bundle is £34.95(~€47.50) on Amazon.

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00VK5P2XO

It's a fantastic game. I paid €60 for this in Smyths at launch so this is a good deal especially as I don't think they have it in stock anymore.

That is a good price. I bought it at launch with the Amiibo as well. Now I'm trying to collect all the different Yoshis. There is plenty of replayability. Anyone got Xenoblade? Seems great but you need a lot of time.

Seems like a very good price. Kids have spent their combined Christmas money on this, they are as impatient as me waiting for deliveries so that'll be the soundtrack of next week. Thanks.

Thanks :) I bought it at launch and still play it. So much free DLC. It's a terrific game. Enjoy!

Hi lads any good deals on wii u 32gb?

Hi lads any good deals on wii u 32gb?

Argos have the Mario Maker WiiU bundle for €312.99
They also have the Splatoon or Mariokart 8 bundles for €289.99
And the combined Splatoon and Mariokart 8 pack for €329.99

If you want to kinda save a few Euro, Smyth's have a deal for the 8Gb model of the WiiU with Smash Bros and a free copy of Skylanders Swap Force, for €264.99, that said, you'll have to supplement that with a external hdd, unless you have one lying about, and you won't get a sensor bar or a Wiimote or that stuff either, though they're available for feck all on Adverts.

Given the 32Gb on the premium pack gets filled up very fast, the external hdd is probably going to be on your shopping list anyway.

Seems Gamestop of a few used Premium WiiU consoles around the country, at €229, link
They've also got some basic packs for €219.99, link

Hold on, you just got one!!!
    link

There's always great prices on Media-Markt, but none of the sellers I've ever tried will ship to Ireland, in some variations you can't even choose Ireland as a Country.
