its about time they started utilising the fact that you dont actually have to touch a screen to use it, or for it to detect it, and can add features for just being close to the screen etc, such as this preview mode.

I found this annoying and cheesy at first, but I see what they are trying to do, make the presentation less business like and more entertaining whilst portaying real life situations for end users.

All very American as well. Phone has some good features.

Presentation is awful, turned it off as I couldn't watch it. Removable battery, SD card slot, 2600mh battery will be the main draws for a lot of people. A lot of the software stuff is stuff that people won't use that often in reality, and are probably available in other apps already anyhow.

I'm disappointed (but far from surprised) that it looks almost exactly like an S3 or Note 2 though, I would have expected some movement on design, although obviously they want it to be recognisable as a Samsung. I think they will generally be sticking with that look for the foreseeable future though, the way Apple are fairly reluctant to change their design significantly.

Seems like a pretty sweet phone anyhow and I'm sure it will blow the competition away in the benchmark tests, but I'll be interested to see how it compares with the HTC One, which I think is a nicer looking phone incidentally. I'll almost certainly be waiting for the next Nexus anyhow to change from my current phone.

That can be alot of hassle when on a mobile. CNET's website can sometimes be a little scattered.

I like this phone more than I liked the S3 when I first seen it... The Verge is saying some of the software bits in the S4 will be coming to the S3 in time.


I like it I have to say and will have a think about this thing or the nexus 5.

How does it lack in the design department? It's an s3 basically, which is a great design imo

Better CPU, More Ram, Better Screen, Better Cameras, Better Battery, Bigger Storage, Better Features, Lighter, Slimmer.

The iphone got longer and added some aluminium and people **** their pants, its the same thing with this really except with much better specs
