I think it's just really slow on the commander. I downloaded it myself today, and it took around 1-2 hours. Should have only taken about 15mins really.

Sever seems like right craic! Not as much of a TDM as a random server, which is a nice break! Loads of weapons, food, drink, and skins to be found!

put it on the site there for folks to download. had the the same trouble myself took ages.

just extract it to your arma 2 operation arrowhead folder.

My highlight so far on the server has to be when Simon ****ed the grenade off a cow by accident and almost killed the lot of us!
That or when TJ drove the jeep into the water with about 8 of us in it, after we has just said he was the best driver!

Really? I fresh spawned earlier today with 30 odd people online, in Cherno, and I was fine. Looted loads of buildings, while avoiding other users and came out with some decent starter gear, and enough food/water to keep me going for a good while! You could just be getting really unlucky or something!

Probably link back up with the lads again tomorrow after work.
I still don't know how I died last time! I was in the back of the land rover, and all of a sudden I was dead!

I think the barreks at Skalisty have something to do with it as well. Weird as f*ck tho, for the amount of time we were on today all the action was on the east side of the map.

People used to run Stary and then NWAF, now its straight up the coast to the NEAF.

Tried the server today, runs really smooth. Breaking point was a laggy heap so it's nice to see Overwatch performing alot better.

Yeah I just tried to join and spawned in debug and couldn't do anything.

its currently on 0.1.7 tried updating to the latest version but did not want to work.

0.17 is the version the gaellords server is on.

Zombies are the same ones that are in the vanilla dayz mod, they're terrible.
You can't remove parts from vehicles.

You and that beast internet

Not happy with the zombie part and not happy with not removing parts from vehicles. Suppose it will make people go out and loot which will put them at risk.

Also, I wish they would either remove the barreks from Skalisty Island or lower the loot level to box standard ak's and m4's and none of this LMG or Sniper malark. Really stops people from coming up North which is a shame
