Petey and Funaki are my new favourite team.

Does it be repeated? Completely forgot about it.

Sure I'll find it other ways but TV quality is always better.

It might just have been some fresher faces but this months show was less of a chore to get through. Nothing great but enjoyable enough.

Only about an hour in, myself.

King vs Dutt was very entertaining.

Taz thinking getting peoples names wrong is funny, is one of the most annoying things he does. Tenay corrected him three or four times and he still managed to get Mesias wrong. He is far too comfortable. When JR became a free agent, his work suddenly got better as he was likely worried about his job. Obviously he is back into his comfort zone and is half assing it again.

His legit inability to say Rockstar Spud properly is amusing though.

Mess of a show really, enjoyed Petey and Funaki vs Gallows and the other lad though.Funaki's punches are fantastic.

Aces and Eights vs Funaki and Petey was good. Bad Influence vs the British Invasion was great. Cant see the main event being better. Even Rob Terry brought it. Think it may have been the best match of all the ONO shows.

What did happen Christy for Ivelisse's intro? Just seemed like it was really bad editing?

Why was this how only shown on TV now?, it happened back in march

The tag team tournament show is on Challenge tomorrow. Because what better way to spend Christmas Day than three hours of TNA. First round matches:

The Young Bucks vs. Petey Williams and Sonjay Dutt - Winner goes on to face Team 3D in the second round

Garett Bischoff and Wes Brisco vs. Cassidy Riley and Chase Stevens - Winner goes on to face Samoa Joe and Magnus in the second round

The other two second round matches are Bad Influence vs. Chavo and Hernandez, and Aries and Roode vs. Doug Williams and Rob Terry.

There actually looks like some fun matches.

Are they not airing that one in the states? Dont think they made any mention of it recently.

It's set to be the first one in January.

Wonder how we got it earlier? Usually it's available in the States for a few days first.

20 guys on that card, only 8 are still definitely employed. Potentially 10 since Bischoff and Brisco seem to be somewhere in between. Only 4 of those are featured on a regular basis.

I really hope they dont record an entire year again in 2014. Just do three at a time and it'll be much closer to the TV product.

I don't mid how far they tape them in advance so long as they're better shows than the ones this year.

From the tag show The Young Bucks vs. Petey and Sonjay is a lot of fun, the rest is pretty much the same by the numbers stuff as the rest of these shows. Spoilers from the Hardcore Justice taping last night:

    (1) Ethan Carter III beat Tommy Dreamer in a Tables match. Solid opening match. EC3 opened with a promo running down the TNA fans, talking about how his aunt, Dixie Carter, invented hardcore wrestling. His promo drew a lot of heat from a hot crowd. Dreamer, who was wearing a "House of Hardcore" t-shirt, and Carter brawled in and out of the ring, flirting numerous times with the table coming into play to end the match. The finish came with the table propped up in the corner. Dreamer went to suplex Carter through the table, but he blocked it and sent Dreamer crashing through the table with a spinebuster to pickup the win.

After the match, Dreamer received a nice ovation from the crowd. As he backed up the ramp, he blew the fans a kiss and said, "Thank you."

    - TNA tag champs Bro-Mans were out for the next segment. Bro-Mans said they were in the Lethal Lockdown main event later on, but Team Angle was missing a fourth member, so they called out Dewey Barnes from the merch stand to see if he could fill the void. They ran him through a variety of tests - a pose-off, a dance-off, and finished with a push-up contest to see if he could do ten. But, after nine, Jesse Godderz dropped an elbow on Barnes's back and Bro-Mans gave him the boots.

    (2) Bobby Roode beat Samoa Joe via DQ. The winner of this match would give his team the man-advantage in the Lethal Lockdown main event. Good physical match. It was not a hardcore match - the only one of the night that wasn't - and the finish came after a ref bump. With the ref down, Roode brought a trash can into the ring and went to hit Joe. But, instead, he slammed the can on the ground and threw it at Joe, who caught it. Roode then hit the canvas as the ref came to, and the ref called for the bell after seeing Roode down and Joe with the trash can.

    (3) Lei’D Tapa beat Velvet Sky in a Street Fight. Sky and Tapa battled all around the ringside area, including Sky taking a nice bump off the steps after being whipped into them by Tapa. Sky found a chair and was chopping away at Tapa's legs and back. The finish came after Tapa managed to gain possession of the chair and finish off Sky.

Joseph Park and Eric Young come out for a Full Metal Mayhem match. Prior to the match, Young and Park cut a promo where Young again tried to convince Park that he was Abyss. During the promo, Young said, "We're in New York!" which drew a big boo from the crowd. He whispered in Park's ear and quickly said, "That was a test, and you all passed it."

    (4) Abyss/Park & Eric Young beat Christopher Daniels & Kazarian. Really, really good match here. Some good spots with the ladders and just a fun match to watch. Park took a huge bump on the ladder where he looked like he mangled his leg. The finish came after Young and Kazarian were on top of a ladder and Young tossed Kaz off the top to the canvas. He then stood on top of the ladder - the very top rung - and dropped a HUGE elbow to pick up the win.

Next was Bully Ray vs. Mr. Anderson. Prior to the match, Anderson cut a promo where he said he didn't want the match to be a stretcher match, because as soon as he won, if Bully were on a stretcher he'd receive proper medical treatment. Anderson said he wanted to hurt Bully Ray, and convinced "the office" to make it a Last Man Standing Match.

    (5) Bully Ray beat Mr. Anderson in a Last Man Standing match. Anderson gets bloodied fairly early in the match. Really physical match where these two beat the crap out of each other, even going under the ring to grab an extra section of guardrail. As Anderson charged Bully, he stuck out his foot with actually dislodged one of the vertical pieces of the rail and slammed Anderson in the face. By the time these two were done with the rail, it looked like a truck ran it over.
Then, Bully Ray superplexed Anderson off the turnbuckle onto the steel rail to get a ten count after barely making it back to his feet himself, with help from the ropes.

    (6) Austin Aries beat Chris Sabin in an X Division Xscape match. A lot of what you would expect here. Good action and a lot of good wrestling and aerial moves. At one point, Sabin took the rope from his tights and tied Aries's ankles to the bottom rope and went for the escape, but Aries was able to free himself in time to block Sabin's attempt to climb out. There were a lot of crotch shots in this match, with both guys crotching the ropes and turnbuckle. Most notably, with Aries upside down in the corner, Sabin stood on his crotch and bounced up and down. The finish came after Sabin was crotched on the top rope and Aries jumped up and down six or Seven times. Aries also hit Sabin with a huracanrana from almost the top of the cage, which might have been the spot of the night.

The Lethal Lockdown match was up next.

    (7) Team Angle (Kurt Angle & Samoa Joe & James Storm & Abyss) defeated Team Roode (Bobby Roode & Robbie E. & Jessie Godderz & TNA World champ Magnus). James Storm and Jesse Godderz start things off. Storm was upset Jesse wasn't getting in the ring, so he left the cage and chased him around ringside, asking fans in the front row to put their feet up on the rail and he'd smash Jesse's head into them. Those two finally get in the ring.

Next entrant - Robbie E. Typical double-team from The Bro-Mans on Storm.

Next entrant - Samoa Joe. Joe evened the score.

Next entrant - Bobby Roode. Team Roode got the man-advantage back and started to clearly take control.

Next entrant - Kurt Angle. The place exploded for Angle. He stared down Roode and those two went at it.

Next entrant - Magnus. Magnus brought a barrel full of weapons with him, including a kendo stick and a cheese grater.

Next entrant and Angle's mystery partner - Abyss! The roof nearly blew off the joint for Abyss's return, who came to the ring with Eric Young. Abyss brought a barbed wire board with him. The finish came when Abyss chokeslammed Robbie E. on the barbered wire board and scored the pin.

After the match, Team Angle celebrated. TNA staff came to the ring with a towel to pry Robbie E. off the barbed wire and immediately covered his back in the towel. It must have gotten his back pretty good as blood was visible on the towel.

Overall, a really fun show. There weren't any angles, but no one in attendance expected any. It was a night full of good, hard-hitting wrestling matches and the crowd was very appreciative all night.

Hardcore Justice was a good show. Not a great show, but didn't feel like a total waste of time like a lot of these have.

    Joker's Wild results from Birmingham:
    * Jeremy Borash kicked off the pay-per-view. They will be drawing names out of a lottery bin to make up the teams. The winners advance to the Gauntlet Battle Royal for $100,000.

    * The British Invasion (Magnus and Doug Williams) defeated Chris Sabin and Gunner. Magnus got a ton of heat from the crowd. There was a little comedy from Sabin during this match.

    * Samoa Joe and Bad Bones defeated Christopher Daniels and Robbie E. Joe got a massive pop and was on fire in this match.

    * Bully Ray and Rockstar Spud defeated Mr. Anderson and Austin Aries. Spud got a massive pop in his hometown. There was a lot of good comedy and Earl Hebner slammed Spud at one point.

    * Kazarian and Ethan Carter III defeated Eric Young and Curry Man. There was more comedy during this match.

    * The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) defeated Beer Money (James Storm and Bobby Roode). The crowd chanted "This is awesome!" Beer Money was over big time.

    * Samuel Shaw and Abyss defeated Zema Ion and Jessie Godderz. The crowd chanted "creepy bastard" at Shaw.

    * Madison Rayne, Velvet Sky and ODB defeated Gail Kim, Lei'D Tapa and Alpha Female in a six woman elimination tag match. ODB was said to have won the match. There was tension between Gail and Tapa.

    * Ethan Carter III won the Joker's Wild Gauntlet Battle Royal. There were "CM Punk" chants during this match.

Looking forward to Beer Money vs. The Wolves.

I wasnt a fan of EC3 at the start but he is really growing on me now. His pre-match promo at #OldSchool was great.

    Fans: "You cant wrestle."
    EC3: "I disagree."
    Fans: "You cant wrestle."
    EC3: "I'm actually very good."
    and repeat until they stop.

Didnt miss a beat and was a calm as you like. Very well done.
