Very sorry for your loss. Rest in peace.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,104 ✭✭✭benny79

That's very sad to hear, especially at this time of the year. Try not to focus on the loss but all of the happy memories you've had with him.

Most of all, don't cut yourself off: there's always someone around who'll talk...

Good advise there Charlie I know when my own father died suddenly I went off the rails a bit! Only for my son been born I probably wouldn't be here today..

Look after yourself and immense yourself with family & friends..

Yeah usually once you have submitted your 3 cards. You have no real need for it until you have received your handicap anyway.

Your Golfnet card is independent of your handicap. Your Club should be applying for it once you have paid your money. Doesn't take long for it to come I believe. Your handicap secretary will need the number to set up your handicap on the system so I would ensure you get it before then.

Note: This is based on my own Club and realise not all Clubs are the same.

Lads a quick question for ye: I haven't played in a comp since October but I will likely put my name down for one either Sunday or Tuesday.

On Golfnet my handicap status is listed as "Non-competition", could anyone explain what this means exactly? Surely I won't have to submit 3 cards again?

I've only played in 6 qualifying comps in the last 12 months as I spent the majority of last year travelling but I assumed this would be enough to keep my handicap?

You need to have played 3 at your home club last year, pretty sure the need to be a singles event also.

Old spice, Brut, sex panther and cigar juice mixed together.

    It's quite potent
