My guess it's the Inspirational Poster, all inspired to annoy the AH mods.

Mine was a lump of turf. I was about nine, from my Pop. I'd moved to the UK with my Mom two years before. I didn't see the humour.

Nevermind folks, I'm just gonna turn off the lights and and lie in the foetal position in the corner of a dark room whilst minding my own business. When I feel up to it I'll post this experience in the creepy/unnerving things that happened to you thread.

Was passing McDonalds earlier, and saw they had a sign in the window advertising McDonalds vouchers as being a great Christmas present.

Could you imagine getting that on Christmas day? How shite!

A soap in the shape of a banana. My little brother took a big bite out of it and there were bubbles coming out of his mouth for ages.

Actually in hindsight, that was a great present.

I was a child. looking for a kitten.

What I found under the Christmas tree was a washing basket with a blanket over it. Hurray, I thought, it's a kitten, but what did I get? A stupid school bag. I didn't talk to my granny for a week or so

Just an illusion, just false hopes...instead of being honest, telling me, that pets are not supposed to be a present for christmas
