    I went there once.

The bread was rather good but I developed a terrible itch after a few days. :pac:

EDIT: After a bit of googling, I'm pretty sure candida is not, in fact, used as an ingredient of bread. The lesson today is that we're probably all really lucky that my brief baking career never really took off.

I'm tempted to delete this post out of shame, but I think it needs to remain, just so that history doesn't repeat itself.

    So endeth this monologue.

I'm really getting stressed now. I've so many things to go through and study that to say I'm feeling overwhelmed would be an understatement. :(

When I get like this I start biting my nails and doing all those other anxiety related things. *hyperventilates*

Really silly things are annoying me now, How it's never quiet enough to be productive here, how my sister is constantly bringing friends home at 11 and 12 at night so they stay for hours etc. (I wouldn't mind if they were quiet. :/)

I feel like I need to write a list so I can just mark things off. That could be the procrastination talking....

    *panics*
Should have started studying earler. All the work I've been doing has been on assignments that really don't count for that much considering the effort I put in.

    /rant.

Also I realised I'm facebook *friend* with some total morons. Reading some of their comments about the death of that woman in Galway --> :(

@Ciara1052, write the list :) It'll give you a small measure of a sense of control and it'll feel great everytime you get to cross something off :)

I knew which novellist born in fife uses his middle initial m to distinguish the genres of novel he writes.
I recognised the intro to baker street.
I got most of the dingbats.
That was my contribution to the table quiz. We did not win. :p:p:p

Pocket watch / necklace arrived

I just finished watching another episode of Project Runway (broadcast over the summer.) It's amazing how nice the judges are in it, which means I actually want to watch it. Unlike America's Next Top Model where I just want to punch the hosts. Plus in PR the people actually have talent at more than walking and twirling.

ANTM was entertaining in its own way, but I really only liked the makeovers and the readlly fantastical photo shoots. The rest is just b*tching and Tyra smizing

  • Registered Users Posts: 32,513 ✭✭✭✭Lucyfur

I love ANTM. And The Kardashians.

Can't believe I admitted that. On the internet. For shame :pac:

    Guilty pleasure :o

They're all so beautiful, and entertaining in their stupidity :pac:

I think I watched about three seasons of ANTM, and then I realised I was just getting incredibly angry after each episode and stopped. PR is so much better.

    Hee

When I first came across the Kardashians on the telly, I thought they were the Cardassians from Star Trek and it was some sort of spin off show.

I was disgusted when I realised this was not the case.

I like the makeover tantrums on NTM but that's about it.

Have I missed project runway though?

How do you mean have you missed it? There was season 10 over the summer. I've never watched it before (I think I saw a few episodes a few years ago.) I've seen three episodes now. I just think it's refreshing that the judges aren't bitchy about what people make. If they don't like something they'll say it, but they won't be awful about it. It's like they have actual respect for the participants because they obviously needed an actual skill to even be in the competition.

Cardassia's Next Top Tailor, with Garak as a judge.
On the mobile site it keeps suggesting that I "Get Right With God"...

I wonder if there's any chance of "Meet new single Gods in your area."

Ah okay, sorry if I picked you up wrong! I don't understand that mentality either, but so many girls have it. Get a job straight after school, marry teenage boyfriend, have kids. Stay in the same town you were born and raised in. I know that makes plenty of people happy but I'd feel like I'd missed out on so much if I did that.

Fair play to your friend though, college and babies are tough by themselves, never mind simultaneously!

I'm doing the college and baby thing atm. Tough is an understatement but I have a very supportive oh!
