I quite like broccoli, and sprouts!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,858 ✭✭✭homemadecider

Me too! I often have the OH driven demented by asking 'can we add brocolli to this'? I tend to put it in everything. Green colours taste the best!

New QA guy at work is a City fan. Shíte.

    Not cool!

Also, Broccoli is the nicest green vegie out there!

Spinach is clearly superior, the rest of the greens family wish they could be as cool as spinach.

I got a paper cut between my fingers, the pain.

I love green veg, nom nom.

I got pancake eating broccoli, spinach etc before he figured out he wasn't supposed to like them! What a dastardly plan! :)

Every kid eventually figures out the hiding unwanted veg under the remains of other bits of dinner trick. or sneakily feeding them to a dog if there's one in the house. I know I did :pac:

Oh I don't hide them! He gets a big bowl of 200g of broccoli or peas or something and eats like a horse! :D

You need to either start early, or be persistent. The pediatrician says you may have to try something 5 or 6 times before the baby gets a taste for it.

Jamie is 10 and will only eat veg cause he doesnt know its in the mush dinner my Mam gives him every night. He thinks he's eating spuds, meat and gravy. He takes after his auntie Ella.

I only started eating veg in my late 20's. And now eat all the greens. No other colour tho.

It was only as an adult that I discovered broccoli could be crunchy.

Parsnips make great soup, and they're lovely roasted. Hate them just boiled though.

I love green veg. Not into roots so much, they tend to be too sweet for my liking. With the exception of sweet potatoes, ironically, although I do absolutely lace them with cumin and cayenne.
