Is it just me or has boards.ie been behaving a bit odd in the last five minutes?

    Yeah it had a "moment"

It's like groundhog day reading most threads with up to five or six duplicate posts :)

I don't really have much experience with cows but I have heard they're very intelligent.
Yes, my Daisy always scores above average in her Cow College's routine yearly IQ testing.

They're biased towards the dairy cows anyway, bullocks are already down ten points before starting the test.

I'd say my presentation only needs another hour or so before it's done, yay :D Having such a productive day today frees up a lot of time for me this week for studying for exams, looks like I'm hitting my stride at the right time! Fingers crossed I don't jinx it now :P

Going to Sacre Coeur in about 15 minutes, very excited. Think I'm going to hit the Champs Elysees and the Christmas markets next weekend instead :)

Oh my god I need those oreo chocolaty yums!

Well the argument is done and gone. I remained cool and rational and they came off as really petty and just awful- really cruel. They're involved in youth defense, should have heard the sirens from the start.

Boyfriend went out and got me my favourite dinner from Avoca, I loves him.

You'd have a more reasoned debate with the Oreo Dairy Milk.

I think me and my bf need some time to ourselves. We're fighting a lot lately and I don't really know why, it just seems to happen out of nowhere. I'd love to book a couple of days somewhere if I could afford it. We're 2 years together soon so I was thinking about trying to do something around that time.

Between the two of ye could ye afford even a night away, some hotel special offer etc? Or even just a really nice meal, 3 courses, a few hours, you can get them for €25-40 in lovely restaurants now with all the early bird offers. Everyone fights from time to time, I do believe there were threats of wedding cancellations, storming out and insults about people's families thrown around here last week, everything was fine again a few hours later! :o:p

My mam is getting me a weekend in a hotel in Ireland for Christmas, I told her to just look out for something nice on a deals site. Could ask for that or money for Christmas?

Look for one of the deals on the deal websites. Especially at this time of year hotels and stuff should have good over night deals. You get much better mid-week deals.

My arm and shoulder hurts from stirring the christmas cake. Though, I am dying to take it out of the oven...4.5 hours agghhhh. Hurry up. :pac:

Thanks for the advice guys, you're all lovely. I'll see what I can do. I do have some money saved but I need it more for car insurance in the next few weeks. As well as that I have to pay 200 euro to stay on the veterinary nurses register just in case I do happen to get a job within the next year.

I'll definitely keep an eye on the deals sites.

Maybe I'm taking this more to heart than I should be. Just don't like fighting with anyone, especially him.

Everybody fights at times PP, in moderation, I think its a healthy part of a relationship. Even if you can't get away for a while, focus on getting your driving test, your license, and even just hang out together doing fun things.

There are always good deals on pigsback. I make it my business to gather pigsback points. Purchased two xmas presents by it last year and just got a voucher for my favourite hair salon on it using just my points and not spending a penny.

    Savage so it is.

Yeah true.. Won't be doing the test for a while yet but I'll keep going with the lessons because I'm enjoying it. Even going to the cinema for a night would be great to be honest. A night away would be nice. I was looking at a deal on in the Tullamore court - 2 tickets to Neil Delamere, room for the night, dinner and breakfast the next morning for 170. Couldn't afford it on my own. Might say it to himself and see what he says. Thanks for the reply. :)

Surely though ye'd be going halves if it was for your anniversary?

Yeah we would but I'm not sure if he could even afford halves and I'm not paying it all myself.

I like this one 2 nights b&b for €79 though it's not clear if it's for one person or two. Looks like it's right by Limerick junction train station as well so you'd probably get there on the cheap too. :)
