That's what I'm getting. Seems about right for Amazon's usual estimates. I'd imagine it'll be sent out Friday, though, and if it's in the Dublin warehouse it could be delivered as soon as Tuesday.

Anyone find good quality screen protectors or covers for this yet. I have an S3 and had bought the Samsung flip cover for it which I don't intend buying for this unit as its wearing away quickly. Had also got one of those free ZooGue rubber covers from the US for the S3 but have found its lifting the edges of my expensive Zagg screen protector.

Anything I've seen that looks nice is for the original Original 7" tab. Most of the units available for this seem to be bulky / or not too aesthetically pleasing. Any recommendations appreciated.

I think the total addition was £3 with Irish VAT. When you factor in any special conversion rates or transaction fees as well as inconvenience and fuel costs I don't really see the point in using Parcel Motel in this situation.

Mine's already been dispatched and will be here by Monday.

Thanks for the link - its a damn good price but is that cover not for the original tab? I know the dimension changes on the tablet are fairly minimal but wasn't too sure if locations of camera, buttons etc were all the exact same. mind you if it fits yours then thats the answer

I've never liked those reach-over cases, it always makes me think the tablet's dressed up for some sort of bondage role-play.

But it's the breaking the flat plane of the screen that's really annoying, it just feels so much better in hand and to look at when there's nothing covering the black (or white) boarders.

I'd honestly prefer a gel skin over that sort of case (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-Galaxy-P3100-Skin-Cover/dp/B008CPBW0W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1354232763&sr=8-1) and rougher use I'll get the officially licensed one that holds the tablet around the actual edges (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-Book-Cover-Galaxy-Tablet/dp/B007UQRFQE/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1354232734&sr=8-9). I've got the same type of one for my ($99 and yes, I will never get tired of saying that) HP Touchpad and it's great. Even if it's a bit more than another one the comfort has been totally worth it.

EDIT: Though I am considering the wireless keyboard set with a gel skin, this tablet won't be going out of the house very often so as long as it has something to protect the back from nicks and scratches when you just want to use the tablet by itself them I'm set.

It is definitely worth keeping an eye on this over the next few days. i was hoping to pick up the 7 inch 8gb wifi for £149 when i spotted the 10 inch 3g 16gb version for £228 which is a hell of a bargain.
But be warned the offer does not last long because i rang my sister to let her know and when she went to order they were all gone and back up to near rrp.

It's showing at Stg 360 right now from a marketplace seller, but as you can see from cunavalos screenshot the price of Stg 228 is being offered directly from Amazon.co.uk.

It's a sure bargain, when I see this I'm sorry I didn't hold out for it after buying the 7", ah well, can't win them all I guess !

Reviews say the Nexus 7 slightly but the Tab2 has expandable memory so they both have pros and cons.

Nexus is slightly faster.
Both are same weight / similar size
Nexus wins the screen test too for pixels per inch (but both are high so it doesn't really matter)
Tab2 wins the camera as it has 2
Software is the same - Jellybean is available on both
Tab2 wins on storage.

Hi Guys, I ordered mine last Sunday/Monday and it arrived yestereday. I have to keep it under wraps till Christmas, but I was just checking it out in a room away from kids etc and I found the internet connection woeful. In fact I couldn't access any site even though it was connected to the internet, I kept getting "no connectivity" or web page not available. I have no difficulty with connection in this room with my Galaxy S3 phone which was right beside the Tab2. On checking internet I see this seems to be a problem with the S Tab2 7
