Things that are self evident don't need a whole lot of 'trying.'

Have you ever been to the DMV? I have had the unfortunate luck of spending many, many, many hours in the DMV as of late. Things go smooth when people have the proper information. What causes the bottlenecks? Improper information and ID... Yeah, you guessed it.

You have proper ID... go vote. You don't have proper ID, now we need to go through a whole series of time consuming procedures in order to allow you the opportunity to vote... Some things are just a matter of common sense.

What time consuming process do you envision happening at the polling location? I'm genuinely curious.

I go to my polling place, I park, I wait in a line, they ask for my name, they look it up on the roll, I'm checked off and an old lady brings me to a booth where she plugs a brick sized thing into the voting machine so my vote can be tallied.

I don't know how they do it in Pennsylvania. Wasn't aware you had to give the blood of your firstborn in line.

You have no problems? Let me guess… Because you have done everything right? You registered to vote in a timely manner, you on the roles of your local voting district, if you have moved you have taken the required responsibility to make sure you have filled out the change of address with the voter registration, if you are away you have applied for an absentee ballot, you have voted in enough recent elections that you haven’t been dropped off the voting roles, and I bet you have a photo ID handy. If any of these things don’t occur it takes two-to-three election officials to try and sort things out with the person, taking resources away from a smooth voting process for others. Because in this day and age we can no longer just say "Sorry Charlie, you can't vote here today."

Let me cut through the bull**** at the butt here: you have no evidence to support the claim that long lines in Ohio were the result of ambiguity at the polling place. If you do: please provide it.

I did say "I'm guessing" in my comment. I know people think everything I comment here is to be taken as gospel, to be disproven with fervor at every opportunity. But actually, there are just times when good common sense leads me to either guess, believe, or think. A shock, I know. :P

Common sense that said voter ID would magically make Romney votes appear in voting machines. Got it.

Some fairly damning stuff coming out of the Democrat stronghold of Detroit the last couple of days. It remains to be seen if its just under funded badly ran systems or deliberate fraud but the fact that the Republicans are now starting an audit indicates that they believe they lost votes.
Honestly myself I can see they're point, a 95% vote to one candidate would seem to be a statistical outlier even in a place with a lot of Democratic support.
250 votes seem to have been misplaced or not properly in place in event.
Whatever your politics it seems a bit shocking that the system can run this badly if the explanation is more prosaic than fraud.

Individuals or groups of individuals appear to be far from the main problem in US elections.

Compare US states https://www.electoralintegrityproject.com/eip-blogs/2016/12/22/was-there-fraud-in-us-elections with the rest of the world: https://www.electoralintegrityproject.com/the-year-in-elections-mid2016/
