    Hi
What email address did u use to inform them of your faulty phone?
I think I will look for a replacement. I find the network signal on mine very bad. I'm on VF and find I lose signal a lot of the time. I had an iPhone 4 on VF with no issues.
The only problem I have about sending it back is there is a tiny crack on the glass back near the camera lenses( don't even know how it happened)

Finally ordered the official bumper case on Flubit. Because the shipping cost is set at £9.99 on Flubit for all Google Play products when it should be £5.99 for the bumper case, they said they'd credit my PayPal with £10 after I made the purchase to make up for the difference and for the hassle of trying to get it sorted over the last week. I know it's only £4 between the two shipping costs but I was hanging on for the sake of principle.

My parcel is now trackable on Parcel Force. :)

The thing is, I noticed in the PF tracking that it said it's location was "General Logistics Systems" so I did a check on the GLS tracker using the same number and so far it appears to be more detailed, giving two tracking events instead of PF's one event. The latest event on the GLS tracker says my parcel is currently in transit. I'll keep an eye on both tomorrow and see which one gives the most or best information.

I really hope you get soon. You have been very supportive and positive to everyone waiting. Hope it's everything and more when you get your turn to play!

hmm yea I had an prob with the address too and they (Flubit) said it was updated.. but it nope someone lied... then they (flubit) gave me the wrong tracking number... in the end I had a long drive up to Belfast to retrieve myself as the people who received it were kind to ring the contact number (mine) and hold it for me...

Eugh, I had better make sure they have the right address on record show! Yesterday morning I followed up the reply from fireworks asking them to confirm the new address that they have on record, but nothing yet. I will get on their case tomorrow if I have heard nothing.

@DECEiFER I hope you get it soon!

Google Play went live in Ireland today according to this article.

Hopefully this might mean the end of the hassle and uncertainty of ordering through Google.

As of this morning it appears the UK store for devices can now be accessed from the Republic
without using TunnelBear and can go right up to the ordering page for any of the devices.

Hopefully this means we can now buy the Google devices without having to jump through hoops!

Hope that doesn't mean I will find it hard to get rid of my two spare nexus 4's.

Was hoping to just get cost price and save someone the hassle, looks like it might not be any hassle anymore so will have to cut the price a bit.

How much is it on the Irish play store? I can't access it as my account is still set to the UK.

EDIT - "Sorry! Devices on Google Play is not available in your country yet.
We're working to bring devices to more countries as quickly as possible.
    Please check back again soon."

It's not available in the Irish Play Store... Only music has become available. Perhaps it's a stepping stone towards full access but for now, devices can only be purchased from UK/US Store

You cannot buy devices on the Irish store. It's only music they have added.

Ye but they took away the restrictions stopping people in the Republic
ordering from their UK store this morning.

Might still have to use Parcel Motel but hopefully when you put through an
order it might actually go ahead.

    Hi
Thanks for the info. I have just received an email with a link to personalised cart.
It says don't open link with your phone but with a computer.
Do I still need to use a VPN at thus stage?
I'm in work so only have my phone available.

Mine is on the same truck, delivered at 11:41 in Belfast.

There's nothing showing yet on the PM site that they've received it. And come to think of it, last time I ordered via PM, the first I heard was when it was delivered.

Is there any further tracking for progress from Belfast back to Dublin?

Now showing on the PM website, at last!!

The phone IS a now very late birthday gift for my wife, but so much effort has gone into getting it, I nearly want it for myself ;-)

Same here, 11:41 and it showed up on PM at 13:06! There's a tracking number on the PM page, perhaps that will provide information on when it gets sent out? No worries regardless, we'll have our phones in no time. :)

At least we've both had the Flubit experience and you know you'll get another one if you wanted. I don't blame Flubit one bit for the delay as the same would have happened (and it did happen) if (when) we ordered from Google directly.

It's great that Google Music is now available but I still need to VPN if I'm logged in or out of Google to see the devices, so I confirm that you'll be fine for now Raoul in selling your devices. Don't take too long!

Don't want to be advertising on the thread really (even though I have done it) because I am sure that it isn't allowed but I am not doing it for profit and it would save someone else hassle. Just cost price nothing extra. Think overall that was 346 euro that it worked out. I will stick them on adverts when I get them if I haven't sorted out a deal by then.

Delighted to see some of you eventually getting the phones now. It is a disaster constantly checking tracking numbers every two minutes when you are meant to be working.

My order "checked in" at 13.06 to PM as well.
    All good.

Interestingly, I can see devices on play (and movies etc...) without the need for tunnel bear, irrespective of the location of my pc or device etc..

HA, when you click on the tracking number on PM it gives you an update. Mine left the depot at 14:06. Deadly stuff. Quick turn around time there. Defo to be delivered tonight so!

I set the texts to come in at anytime. I use an app called Silent Time to set the hours I want my tones and vibration switched off so it's no problem to receive texts 24/7. :)

You will get a text about 11pm tonight I'd say.
That's what happened me when I set my account to receive text anytime
