Oisin is a morning/daytime guy though isn't he? don't think I've ever heard him on in the evenings?

they'd have to get someone in to do his job then, given that he covers Alan Quinlan on his obligatory 2 weekdays off like every other member of the supposed Breakfast schedule.
apart from Williams, who unfortunately always seems to be there.

The interview with Giles tonight far more interesting without all of Gilroy's brown nosing. Adrian Barry getting much better interesting stories out of Giles.

I thought Adrian Barry sounded bored stiff! But only caught it there before the news. His contribution for ten minutes was mostly "yeah, yeah, that's amazing John yeah". He coulda been trying to read a book in fairness while John was going on

Feck sake really hate when there's no review. No rugby podcasts up either since Thursday. Thought they sent half of them to Chicago!

I would've liked to have heard them discuss Brolly's piece

    http://www.independent.ie/sport/gaelic-games/gaelic-football/joe-brolly-why-i-cant-lose-with-a-career-in-the-bull****-industry-35191230.html

He doesn't hold back on the level of tolerance for national Mayo love in and all the nonsense that goes along with it, rightly so.

Not sure Brolly's piece was hugely about Mayo's failings but Mayo is the only county putting it up to Dublin anymore so they are saving the country from a Dublin procession to Sam every year. That despite having a population that ranks in the bottom half of the 32 in the country against a population boheamoth that gets to play at home for their games.

This is a great interview with Lee Keegan. It's refreshing to hear a GAA player, especially such a high profile player, being as straight and honest.

Followed up with a great interview with Campbell McLaren who was one of the leaders in setting up the UFC back in the day

Just heard the Newstalk promo for that aforementioned interview with Lee Keegan. "Lee Keegan said that he doesnt like players waving fake cards" or something like that. Made him sound like a complete whinger, when it was them who brought up the subject. You can see why players dont give interviews any more.

    Golf Podcast title

    Donald Trump.........Seriously

Of course if Hillary had won would we have had a.....

    Hillary Clinton..........Seriously:rolleyes:

A bit of perspective at this stage "lads" even if you are going to be a little parochial. Donald Trump loves golf. He plays golf. He owns some of the greatest golf courses in the world including our own Doonbeg.

Apart from that Joe Molloy had a nice zinger about locker room banter re : his buddy cheating on golf course, but he loses points not for recognizing the significance of Captains Prize/Presidents Price in a golf club. Pretty basic stuff there Joe.

I'm listening and enjoying the show.

Don't see how talking about professional sports players finding it difficult to be open about their sexuality should not be discussed on a sports show.

Good old Newstalk promoting their Gay agenda. I often wonder is it just the current obsession with being politically correct or is there money behind it.

Non-stop promotion of being gay as completely normal and everybody should have to accept it being shoved in the faces morning, noon and night or they are homophobic. What happens when we move on to bestiality ....just because some people are into it doesn't make it socially acceptable or does it?

they interviewed one of the swimmers that finished second to her in atlanta, and asked her for an interview.

her reply was along the lines of they asked for a reply without giving her a transcript of what was said so she couldn't give a reply, and signed off with Michelle Smith, triple olympic gold medalist
