got it, thanks a lot :)

I have an astec 63 system and the keypad showing a flashing C message. I removed the fuse, battery and factory link for a minute and put them back in but still have the same problem. It all started yesterday with error 92 (keypad not receiving data, alarm went off for several times as well), I replaced the battery then it came back with flashing C message. Any ideas guys?

    Hi ,
It does not sound good. The only hope might be an engineer flashing the chip to force a reset.
What was the initial cause of this error?

Error 92 relates to the eeprom being corrupt.

Is there only one keypad on the system?

Can you down power the system and wire the keypad into the panel on a length of cable. If there was a issue with the communications to the keypad you will also see the C message.

I know from a good source that they have a qty of s22 and bells and some other stuff that they are going to offer as a last time buy which may include some fusion panels and all pcb types......we will just have to wait and see
