Is the mistress (or male equivalent) ever to blame for an affair?

Do you think it's only the person who is attached is solely to blame for an affair or does the 3rd party have a role to play? I think they do if they knowing have an affair with someone who is attached.

I don't think so or at least they shouldn't be the person the blame is focused on. At the end of the day, the person who cheated on you was the one with the commitment to you, the one who pretended to care about you when they didn't. Its much easier to blame the other person than face the fact that the person you love has hurt you so much and completely disregarded you in their decisions.
