Some of the fans board a meeting with the official board after they had called a motion of no confidence in the official board. At said meeting Ashleys two puppets on the board told the fans board this along with other fairy story's and tales meant to reassure the fans. To be fair it has'nt as for the three bears refuting there is no reason for them to do so as they had already spoke about the Ashley loan versus theirs. I feel confident as do the vast majority of Rangers fans that we don't want Ashley anywhere near our club the simple reasons being so far the deals done between the spivs and Ashley are not for the good of the club for example our shirt deal is a joke the club get pennies with the vast majority of the money going into Ashley's coffers.
So really stuff such as you have mentioned is of no consequence to the fans.

The official board have given details of the offers. The 3 bears were shown to be all talk, no action. Ashley had now pulled a switcheroney, his MASH holding loan has been paid back via a loan from Sports Direct. One of the statements over the past week or so explicitly stated that Sports Direct has no role in the running of any other football club.

I fully expect the EGM to be a busted flush and Sports Direct to underwrite a new share offering, with Mike Ashley in the guise of SD hoovering up a controlling share.

Whether you like it or not Ashley is there to stay. He's consistently been 2 steps ahead of the chasing pack.

Yes he has but he certainly won't be there for the good of the club. At no point has Ashley or his puppets given any indication of investment it will be one loan after the other until he owns everything. If you think the fans are ever going to be happy with this your wrong. Ashley will have an empty stadium next season. The number of season tickets dropped drastically this season it will drop even more next. Oh don't get me wrong there will be a few who will keep going citing the fact they have been going for years and what happens I the boardroom has nothing to do with them. But even that number will dwindle

I've never once stated that your fans would be happy. But their feelings mean nothing to Mike. He has no emotional attachment to the club. He'll keep it limping along once he is making money.

Once the money drys up, he'll wrap the club up and get his money back either by the sale and leaseback of the stadium, or he'll liquidate the club, the assets will be sold and he'll retain the intellectual property meaning any third new club will have to pay him to use the name, the badge, etc.

Ashley is a ruthless businessman. It's his way or the high way.

Our Lord and saviour Mike Ashley has found it in his heart to send us 5 loan players from Newcastle. Bless him.

Anything helps at this stage, at least they will bring some enthusiasm!

The only way this helps is f it gives the SFA the balls to do something about him which I very much doubt

Considering they would have had to approve the paperwork I doubt they'll have too much to say.

Be interesting to see if Elbows gets cited by the disciplinary commission today for his elbow to Griffiths head, and his stamp on Guidetti.

McCulloch has been given free reign to do that stuff his entire career in Scotland. I think of bigger concern is why Craig Thompson took no action despite Guidetti being kicked over and stamped on right in front of him. No action other than to award a freekick against Guidetti.

Well if you are going on them following the rules then you will realise they can do nothing until they have the meeting with Ashley.
I doubt he will be but yes he should be pulled. Thompson was shocking all day but then Rangers supporters have said for many years he wasn't fit to be a Ref

To be fair - there was little in that "Stamp".
Watch the video, he tries (And fails) to take the ball while it bounces on Guidetti's back and then makes a real effort to get his feet either side of the player.
The elbow though...yeah, ban him for the rest of the season. Please.

It quite clearly is a stamp, and in the modern game you get sent off for any sort of contact like that. Brown was sent off against Barca for flicking Neymar's shirt with his toe.

Again, not really having a go at Rangers because I don't think any of you would deny the sort of person/player McCulloch is. The questions must be asked of the refree.

From the faces on these lads it looks like your club is the NUFC naughty step!

I'd perhaps read up on Hatem Ben Arfa, and then look at the similarities with Remie Street.

Whilst I dont think it was a free to Rangers, it certainly wasnt anything that deserved a card to McCulloch. He's trying to play the ball in that situation.

Brown clearly tried to play the man, there is a big difference in the intentions of both players.

Yeah it was UIFA that stopped him playing :rolleye

Plus Ben Arfa was a Transfer not a loan. Stupid rule puts him out of football for 6 months

I'd suggest reading up on it again. You can be registered for 3 clubs in a season, but you can only play competitively for 2.

Nice asked FIFA for clarification of the rule. FIFA clarified that an U-21 game is seen as competitive game. Therefore there was nothing stopping Ben Arfa from signing, he just couldn't play.

Streete has played for the same U-21 team as Ben Arfa this season, along with Port Vale. Once he steps onto a pitch in a competitive game in Scotland this season he'll have broken the rule and I'd expect he'll get a significant ban, the game with be ruled void and Newcastle and Rangers to get a significant fine.

    It's hardly rocket-science.

Well if it happens it happens another nail in this boards coffin. I won't be losing any sleep over it ;)

    Are rangers paying his wages?

Edit: because it looks like he can't play so why would rangers agree to this

There is no way they could afford his wages. From what I have read on loan deals, the % paid can be changed during the loan period. I can imagine it's at between 0%-5% being paid now, possibly changing to 100% a week before the EGM hahaha.

But I'm sure Mike Ashley would never do something like that.

Maybe they'll come to the conclusion that it was just an honest mistake/administrative error and that an ineligible footballer playing football on a football pitch does not constitute a competitive advantage for that football team. And besides, it's the company who signed him not the club.

    BBC
Rangers manager Kenny McDowall claims he has been told by the club that the five loan signings made from Newcastle must be in his starting XI if fit.
    Farce.

"If they are fit" the article says. The circus continues, the funniest show in town.

They must be trying to force McDowell to leave early and put pressure on him take a severance payment less than the full length left on his contract?

I love how you're harping on about this as if, 1) we can do anything about it, 2) Rangers can do anything about it, 3) We care.

The SFA have clearly sanctioned his move, Mike Ashley says he must play, therefore there is absolutely **** all we can do about it until FIFA step in and say its breaking the rules. Get over it man.

and anyway, U21 games being counted as competitive games is a joke, Ben Arfa being forced out of the game is ridiculous.

Happy McDowall has came out and said Ashley is calling the shots with the team, shows it up for the farce it is. Not the players fault, not the fans fault.

Options 1 & 2, are doable. Again, it's the Rangers "head in the sand" approach. Nothing we could do. It's someone else's fault. Always someone else's fault.

What's stopping an organised Rangers fan group, or someone from the club, as Nice did, asking FIFA for clarification?? That would put an end to it.

But no, wait until there is a punishment then claim there was nothing that you could do.

See that is what the SFA are for but no matter what Ashley wanted these players at Rangers.

Nice didn't wait for the FFF to make a ruling, they asked FIFA directly.

Bully for Nice. Maybe it's about time the SFA actually did the job

This is your biggest problem. You can do something about it, stop going to games, stop giving the board money. Its that simple
