Thats a match thread? How many Celtic supporters posted in that? 1?

I was just pointing out that there was a thread related to that game.

I never said that it was any good.

And based on the title and the posts that are in it I'd imagine that 100% of them came from Celtic fans of some shape or form

or this which is not the mobile site

    http://m.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=93148837

Are you suggesting that Boyd and Miller should not have been sent off?

I was just showing the other posters that there was an actual thread related to that game.

I couldn't give a f.... about the game itself or what happened in it.

Firstly, you are clutching at straws and badly at that.

Secondly, the thread was started by a Hearts fan

    It's Lawwell.

What exactly did he say that upsets you so?

He's got his narrative for the Celtic fans, he's explaining Celtic's financial policy to them from his viewpoint. I don't agree with him 100%, I reckon Celtic should spend earlier on the Summer if possible. He's saying with no Rangers club in the SPL it's costing Celtic and others money in terms of revenue. Where he came up with the 10 million figure would be interesting to see.

I think he's correct to say rules should not be bent to ensure The Rangers are catapulted into the top flight in the event of failure to get promoted this season. Is that the comment you mean when saying he plays to the mob?

Anyway, should be talking about Peter Lawwell on the Celtic thread I reckon, you should really have other things on your mind re your club rather than what Pete has to say about yis.

Well as far is Liewell goes he doesn't worry me I just find it strange he feels this need to bring Rangers into it now I understand no one from Rangers has asked for any reconstruction so really he should not be commenting. Hey if he can talk about Rangers at a tic AGM I can mention it hereAs for what or who I worry about that is up to me and frankly it had nothing to do with you.

    Liewell:pac: that's mature.

He was talking about how revenue went down in Scottish football for all SPL clubs after Rangers went bust, it probably did. I don't get why you have an issue with him saying that? What's your real beef with Peter Lawwell? spit out there.

Thought you would be above this Liewell Bs Broxi!

Simple fact is Lawwell is asked questions about Rangers during the agm and has to answer them, is there a particular quote from him that you feel has overstepped the mark?

To me it seems he can't win answering these questions as when he says Rangers being out of the top flight has caused a loss in revenue for Celtic he is criticized by Celtic fans and when he says he doesn't believe the SFA should bend the rules to ensure Rangers are back in the top flight asap(a hypothetical question) he's hammered by Rangers fans for even answering the question

If Rangers don't want a helping hand from the SFA(and I don't believe they do) why do they react so negatively to someone saying they shouldn't get preferential treatment?

Mate I don't get all the fuss over calling him a liar after all he has lied before. As for Rangers reacting negatively I could be wrong but I don't think the club has said anything.
Well Citizen you seem to think you know why I dislike him why don't you tell me go on enlighten us all

Well if this is true I imagine there will be a number of people suffering from Squeaky bum syndrome today.

It's incredible stuff, the whole saga has been.

I'm amazed senior people in a place like D&P would stick their neck out like they did in such a high profile way. That firm could go the same way as Rangers as a result.

Are people really getting uppity about him saying "Liewell"? It was Celtic fans that made it up ffs, at least mock him for stealing it :pac:

Well I'm not one for putting words in other peoples mouths.

Where has he "lied" in this instance at the last AGM exactly, can you be specific about that? What's your beef with Peter? Come on spit it out man.

BBE there decides to talk about what peter Lawwell said at the AGM and then btw calls him a liar, but he wont be specific about what Peter Lawwell actually said that he has a problem with.

Perhaps the bit where Lawwell intimated that the Rangers club that are now playing in the Scottish Championship are in fact a new club is what's getting under BBE's skin there. BBE says he's playing to the "mob" at these AGMs - as he put it, whether he is or not I agree with Peter Lawwell on that matter, don't you?

Peter Lawwell is a liar, he's lied to our fans plenty of times. He lies about reinvesting money, about the direction he's taking our club, he lies about working with the police to harass our supporters etc.

Did Lawwell say they're a new club? IMO if he had his way they'd have been straight into the SPL and he'd be quite happy to parade the Myth - because it is financially beneficial to Celtic, and himself. When pressed as to why the club doesn't actively challenge the Myth, he basically said it's not our business if other clubs or the media want to peddle it. Which is why it's so funny seeing the Bears here pretend as if he's gone out of his way to talk about them: he's literally done the opposite.
Billy: what's that team that plays in Ibrox? They wear blue?
    Timothy: Rangers?
    Billy: HA! OBSESSED!!

That's about the long and short of it really

I'm asking what is it exactly that he said the other day that upsetting BBE there. Peter Lawwell has a brief, he does what DD and the board wants. Some of the stuff with the fans I definitely don't like. Also the financial policy I don't always agree with. Mind you there are examples of clubs that have been run a hell of a lot worse.

He kind of intimated that. People were discussing it elsewhere. Yes he does try not to talk about them you're right. It was BBE there who brought him up in this thread, 'cos he briefly referred to them when answering a question at the AGM the other day.

You can't discuss anything around these matters concerning The Rangers without being labelled obsessed as you say.

Did I say it was at your AGM he lied ? There seems to be a lot of use of the word obsessed I don't think I used that at all. I have said I won't go over this new club stuff as over the last few years it has been hammered in here and nothing changes we will never agree on it. So I will not wasted time.
Mr or Mrs Citizen you say you don't put words in other people's mouths but you are so certain what my problem with Peter is. If you are I say once again enlighten me.
I will say there is a lot of talk about me going on here which is strange I am only a fan of my team.

 did I not just tell ya what I think your problem is, I could be wrong but you could set that straight if you want to.

So you bring up Peter Lawwell in this thread, and then refuse to say exactly what it is that he said the other day that you have a problem with. You're an expert on refusing to answer questions that are put to you that you don't like aren't ya. Maybe you get a kick out of it or something, whatever floats your boat eh.

I have said for a long time I won't discuss the new team stuff as no matter how long the thread lasted we would never agree so pointless

Why isn't Craig Whyte a hero for The The Rangers fans?

If you really are the same club you should adore him, he completely wiped your debt out.

    So why all the hatred?

You think I care that much, I dont.

I doubt he'll be crying into his pillow tonight or anything but its an attempt at operant conditioning whether you realise it or not. Just reminded me of TBBT and how Sheldon tried to condition Leonard & Penny with chocolates and a water sprayer. :D

Ach Dempsey you know you care you had to make a comment if you didn't you would just have left well alone 😘

Rangers v Kilmarnock SC R4 just kicked off not many changes Daly up front with Miller and Mohsni in at CB with Foster playing LB and McGregor at RB

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,704 ✭✭✭Broxi_Bear_Eire

Rangers go one up from Law. A long throw in knocked out to MacLeod who passed it back to Law and a sweet strike puts it in the back of the net

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,704 ✭✭✭Broxi_Bear_Eire

Half time and they go in with Rangers leading one nil. Rangers have certainly had the better of the half and in all honesty Kilmarnock have left a lot to be desired.
Certainly a mixture of the spivs and McCoist is showing in the crowd figures with roughly 9000 in attendance. Takes me back to the 80's

Boyd and Clark on for Daly and Miller

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,704 ✭✭✭Broxi_Bear_Eire

And almost instantly Boyd makes it 2-0 keeper makes a bit of a hash punching it anfd Boyd gets onto it turns and sticks it away

Law makes it three with an excellent finish MacLeod breaks from the edge of his own box it is cut back to Law and he strikes it sweetly past the Kilmarnock keeper
