He is not telling us anything we didn't know and to be honest that is all he seems to do talk

True the writings been on the wall a while now but a lot of people seemed to have their head in the sand, my only concern is that these are the same people who handed over 20million of their pensions and savings to green and co, they've been robbed.

Read that the other day, awful news. Football rivalry means nothing when it comes to that sort of thing.

My father had a similar illness, I can testify that it ain't pretty at the end. Would not wish it on my very worst enemy. Dreadful, dreadful illness and I wish him the very best in his fight. :(

Rangers v Airdrie round 3 of the Scottish cup tonight

RANGERS: Bell; Foster, McCulloch, Mohsni, Wallace; Hutton; Peralta, Law, Macleod; Clark, Daly.
SUBS: Simonsen, Faure, Little, Templeton, Crawford, Aird, Smith.

Should be an easy enough victory but I won't count my chickens just yet

1-0 Rangers Daly not with a header for a change but a shot from a corner.
And Daly makes it 2-0 with a header this time

Not much said about Jim Traynor leaving, he was some gombeen.

    http://www.heraldscotland.com/news/home-news/jim-traynor-leaves-rangers.1383325844

Whilst I was reading that article I saw this one

    http://www.heraldscotland.com/news/home-news/hmrc-warns-rangers-ahead-of-appeal-over-36m-tax-case.22568390

HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) has issued a thinly veiled warning to Rangers ahead of the taxman's appeal against the oldco company's 'big tax case' win after a Scottish firm settled a £7 million bill for tax avoidance.
HMRC has now proved that bonuses should be treated as cash payments liable for PAYE and National Insurance paid by the company.

Doesnt matter a fiddlers now, Rangers is being liquidated & the SPL is dead. The cheating has been swept under the carpet either way.

0=0 at half time. A very niggly encounter which ended up with Young being sent off for the Pars which lead to a Penalty which Jig duly converted. This was followed up six minutes minutes later with a looping header from that man Daly. A couple of minutes later and the Pars pull one back

And late into injury time Mohsni puts it beyond doubt with Rangers third game over

    Rangers v Airdrie today
Hal time and it is another 0-0 but two minutes into the second half BJD gets his 16th of the season and puts Rangers 1-0 up with a header from a cross

Next time I'm putting all my rent on 0-0 at HT and Rangers to win.

How many times is that now that we can only break teams down in the second half ?

    Good win though :)

Police are investigating whether former owner Craig Whyte is still involved at Rangers.

And they have written to the former chief executive Charles Green to ask for his help in their enquiries.

Green stood down from his position in April following allegations he colluded with Whyte to buy Rangers' assets.

An investigation funded by Rangers cleared Green of any wrongdoing but Police Scotland have been passed files by the law firm who carried it out.

And BBC Scotland has seen an email sent by police last month to a lawyer representing Green.

When the Scottish Football Association transferred the liquidated company's membership to a new company "the key requirement" was the total lack of involvement of Whyte.

Whyte has form for this sort of ownership arrangement when previously banned so its not inconceivable that its happening with Rangers. I think it would be incredible if its true considering the club is constantly in the public eye

This comes as no surprise to 99% of Rangers fans it has been a concern for some time.. Just why it has taken the Police so long to start an investigation is beyond most of us

It's the public eye of Scotland though. Let's face it, the most reliable source of information Rangers fans have had about their club over the past 4 or 5 years has been Celtic fans, who they understandably hate to believe.

Yeah if course we are bound to believe people like Phil three names etc

Rangers fans as I have already stated have been aware of this for some time.

Everyone has been aware for a very long time if they have been following this

Alot of people with vested interests, including Rangers fans, wanted to be fooled by Charles Green. Ye all bought into his brand of bull despite it being pointed out very clearly that he was playing to the gallery.

I wonder if a police investigation can turn up more information than a law firm & world renowned forensic investigators hired by Sevco couldnt! Seems to be a question of how many vested interests wanted to be fooled at this stage.

Ignoring information because of its source is a fairly sad indictment of how Sheepish 99% of Rangers fans are. Oh but 99% are awake and asking the right questions just in time for new management to come in and start another venture round! :pac:

The problem with taking information from certain sources would mean sifting through all the utter ****e and bile that was also written. Why should I even read what certain people write when they clearly hate and despise me as a Rangers fan
Not long after Green took over it became clear what he and his cronies were after all you had to do if you were unsure was read the sensible forums out there
I and many other bears didn't need to read the bile that comes from Phil three names to know what was going on. You will find most rational Rangers fans had worked out what was happening unfortunately very few of us were in a position to do anything about it and those supposed Rangers men that could did nothing. The ordinary fan had no way to stop them

There was plenty of defending of Green on this forum when the questions were being asked and this continued for a relatively long time considering what was known at the time. Any article posted here highlighted the relevant questions so reasons for ignoring valid questions/criticisms is a moot point when being scammed.

The ordinary fan sustained Green's regime so this idea that nothing could be done is nonsense.

Celtic fans in the Rangers thread going on about how right they were ?

    Well I've never... ;)

Seriously, why do some of you feel the need to go on about this ? I'm fairly certain all the Rangers fans here know what happened now.

You're like a press officer! All you seem to do is try to tell people what they should and shouldnt discuss in this thread! You make me think of Baghdad Bob everytime! I reckon there is an unbelievable percentage of your posts that just involve criticising people for talking about current affairs that reflect negatively on your club.

Is there another thread this should be discussed in? Its being talked about because there is now a police investigation, if you havent noticed. You must still have sand in your ears!

The apathy shown in the past needs to be highlighted because there is a real risk of history repeating itself in a short space of time.

Who or what is Phil three names?

And are you really going to deny that while the entity of the Rangers support, the SFA and the Scottish media (excuse the overlap) were painting a rosy picture, it was Celtic fans unearthing the dirt for you? I mean don't get me wrong, I can understand why you didn't believe it at the time, but it doesn't look half pathetic when some of your fans then turn around and play the naive victim card.

If it's the case Whyte still owns Rangers or is still involved with them, then newco broke the conditions under which they were given a license to set up a football club. They should have to start again-again wouldn't they?

Phil MacGiollaBhain he's talking about, 'tis The The The Rangers that will end up with the multiple identities. They've created too much of a mess, they'll never be the same again.

Phil Mac Giolla Bhain is one name though. I'd have thought as proud Irish citizens they would have a better grasp of the Irish language.

Only one of his names though isnt it.

We all know he worked under another name in Glasgow, poor pensioner left in his care eh.

The man is utter scum, and it's good how many Celtic fans see him for what he is and have nothing to do with him.

On topic though, all this stuff gives me a headache, why can't it just be over.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 438 ✭✭Antifa161

What are his other names? That's what I was asking. Haven't much time for him myself, find his articles a bit too self indulgent. Dunno about scum though, seems a bit harsh, and he has unearthed more truths about your club than anybody else in the Scottish football circle.

Aye, ****in' racists the lot of 'em.

I don't know why an intelligent lad such as yourself would even associate with them, they're just bringing you down.
