Then stop having a tantrum and calling everyone obsessed every time they make fun of your clubs. And I do realise some Celtic fans do it the other way around too, but certainly not to the same extent.

    Of course they don't

If your referring to EB's post come on. Did you read the post he replied to ;)

Lawwell was having a laugh at Rangers fans desperate to be conned by the SFA, SPL & Charles Green to maintain a big cash cow in Scottish Football.

Surely the club would have gotten the £1m Jelavic windfall since it never went out of existance! :pac:

Lawwell knows that without this Cash Cow his own club would be in a far less healthy position, lets not kid ourselves - you really think his comments about "saving" Scottish Football don't relate?
You;re as blinkered as those you're laughing at if you don't think so.

But it is important. How the Scottish media and footballing authorities address the issue of a major SPL club being liquidated and starting again is a very important issue, especially when it's marred by swathes of corruption. Why do your fans have this attitude where any time anybody mentions you lot at all your reaction is OMG UR ALL PYORE OBSSESSED WAE US MAN LOOK UR TALKIN ABOUT US !!!! as if you expect everyone in Scotland to ignore the demise of a huge institution, a club that has systematically cheated every other club in Scotland for a serious amount of time? I can understand that it's embarrassing to be under that sort of scrutiny and I totally appreciate that you'd rather the only digging and probing was carried out by your own people, rather than the ones who might actually find something, but try to have a little of that infamous dignity about it eh? Other clubs will talk about you, they'll probably even take the piss a bit. Especially your old rivals. What happened to Rangers was basically the single worst thing that can happen to a football club - and conversely the ultimate victory in a footballing rivalry. If you expect the victors to pretend it never happened then you are living in a different world. Maybe go and support a rugby team or something.

And for what it's worth, a solitary fan asked the question at the AGM - a question that was laughed off with a single line. You'd have people believe the entire board of directors walked in with pie charts and binders full of Rangers FC topics to reel off for the entire meeting.

First question at your AGM apparently.

Only 3 Ring Circus In Town.

Celtic is thriving without Rangers. Far less healthy? What you are speculating about, i.e. the broadcasting deals, represents about <5% of Celtic's turnover. You are overplaying the significance of Rangers and Sevco to Celtic's business model like the hacks in the press & the SFA/SPL did.

No doubt that Celtic would thrive even more if another club could run them close in the Premiership. Thats basic common sense but that doesnt change anything said. Saving Scottish Football relates to the restructuring of the leagues and the business model of Scottish Football. Not everything revolves around the circus.

They absolutely do not. Whether that is because our fans aren't as sad, simple minded, or entitled at yours is a matter of opinion so we can put that aside for now - but the fact of the matter is we have had a whole whole lot more to laugh at ye over than vice versa in recent years leading to more occasion for you to get on the defensive like that. You'd be hard pressed to deny it.

Pish your fans get offended by everything under the sun but as you say that is for a different thread. You may well have cause to laugh but there is laughing and then there are posts like Hagar's that are just moronic

Rangers away to Arbroath tonight. What should be a formality will probably turn out to be a difficult night always seems to be the way after the International break add to that it is an away game in a wee park.

RANGERS: Bell; Faure, McCulloch, Mohsni, Wallace; Aird, Black, Law, Macleod; Clark, Daly.
SUBS: Simonsen, Templeton, Hutton, Peralta, Crawford, Cribari, Smith.

I think there is some merit in that, but I also think it's true that in the vast majority of cases where some of our fans have chosen to be offended, it was in response to something that was intended to cause offence. Let's be honest here, the number 1 technique your fans used to wind us up was racism/bigotry. The whole "you're offended by everything!!" response is not too far a cry from what you hear from EDL/BNP types who get caught out.

You must also admit that your fans haven't exactly showed a great deal of restraint or humour in recent times. We're talking threats of violence, physical attacks etc against anyone who mocked your or indeed entertained the notion that your club had died. A bit more serious than people having a whinge on Twitter.

I think you've got to take the bigger picture in to context - Scottish Football is on it's knees, and it very much needed Rangers - whatever version of the story you pick - to stay alive to get through the last couple of years.
You really think that a full on "death" of Rangers, wouldn't have affected Scottish Football, and by extension Celtic?
Even Lawwell knows the truth there, his mockery is simply playing to the gallery.

Wow - you are one twisted son of a gun, seriously.

You can away and take a flying **** with your BNP/EDL comparisons, as snide as they are.

So long as we have Mohsni and Daly, we'll be fine.
    :D

Rangers go two up when McLeod hit a low ball into the box after some fancy play from Mohsni and it hits a defender and goes into the net

    3-0 Clark :D

I have the bigger picture in context.

We were told that the broadcasting deal for the SPL/Premiership could collapse if Rangers werent in the SPL. It didnt

We were then told that broadcasting deal could collapse if Sevco werent parachuted into Division 1. It didnt

We were told that Celtic would struggle without Rangers. Celtic's latest financial report says otherwise. Next years will say something similar.

The stability that all professional clubs are currently enjoying is due to the restructuring of the leagues and the business model underpinning it.

A "full death" of Rangers would have affected Scottish Football, no doubt, but the significance of this was overplayed and still is.

It's true though, first we were called paranoid now we're obsessed,it's so funny when we read and hear these remarks.
I'm pretty sure I quoted Andy Cameron telling me the RFC was £80 million in debt when I spoke to him in Monklands Hospital Airdrie,in ward 7,was he paranoid,no,he just told the truth, something that Rangers fans hate, truth.

No one has denied that we were in debt to that tune at one point.
As for moronic posts if you think the majority if your posts are sane then fair enough

I forgot that time when Andy Cameron was running the club, with hilarious consequences.

But it's you who said my posts were moronic, are you implying that I'm a moron then?
Don't worry,I don't report posters,it's childish in the extreme, sadly we have a so called Celtic poster who claim's to be one of us yet spend's most of the time antagonising us.

    It also proves my point.

Call someone a moron then claim they're "offended by everything " when they're offended by you trying to offend them.

Unless you're going to bring out the pedantic excuse that you just said his posts are moronic and not him (club and company ho ho). Fact of the matter is you were having a dig.

Yes I was having a dig at his posts if he is so offended I have told him what to do. Attack the post not the poster.
