Mod Post: A reminder to folks that trying to bait supporters by posting alternate names for a football club may lead to a yellow card. Folk are welcome to post in any superthread they wish to, but nobody is free to use superthreads or this forum in general as somewhere to try and bait/flame/troll other posters.

HMRC has now proved that bonuses should be treated as cash payments liable for PAYE and National Insurance paid by the company.
Police are investigating whether former owner Craig Whyte is still involved at Rangers. And they have written to the former chief executive Charles Green to ask for his help in their enquiries. Green stood down from his position in April following allegations he colluded with Whyte to buy Rangers' assets. An investigation funded by Rangers cleared Green of any wrongdoing but Police Scotland have been passed files by the law firm who carried it out. And BBC Scotland has seen an email sent by police last month to a lawyer representing Green. When the Scottish Football Association transferred the liquidated company's membership to a new company "the key requirement" was the total lack of involvement of Whyte.

Broxi_Bear_Eire wrote: » Yeah if course we are bound to believe people like Phil three names etc Rangers fans as I have already stated have been aware of this for some time.
Dempsey wrote: » Everyone has been aware for a very long time if they have been following this Alot of people with vested interests, including Rangers fans, wanted to be fooled by Charles Green. Ye all bought into his brand of bull despite it being pointed out very clearly that he was playing to the gallery. I wonder if a police investigation can turn up more information than a law firm & world renowned forensic investigators hired by Sevco couldnt! Seems to be a question of how many vested interests wanted to be fooled at this stage. Ignoring information because of its source is a fairly sad indictment of how Sheepish 99% of Rangers fans are. Oh but 99% are awake and asking the right questions just in time for new management to come in and start another venture round! :pac:
