Just to let you know, the HD judder issue on E2 will be sorted very very soon if that's the reason you're selling it. It will be a decent little box again for it's price.

how do i get an image and put it onto spark, i have done it all, my next step is the bin.

i have the usb key i tried pog ma hoins tutorial. im exhausted with it

when i download the image too my key and plug it into my box, nothing happens, it worked once but i cant get it to work again

Is the image consisting of two files placed inside a folder labelled "enigma2" and then put on the USB?
So place e2jffs2.img and uImage inside a folder called enigma2

I assume it's an Enigma2 image you're trying to flash.

yeah enigma2, ill try again. theres a folder on my key called pvr that wont delete, im thinking this could be a problem. no?

The judder isn't an issue for me. I changed the output of the box to something and it went away. I've been happy with the Alien.

Got a vue + duo for a steal so going to use that.

No the PVR folder will have no baring on it. Are you using the back USB port on the box?

The folder called PVR is created by spark, don't worry about it. The two files should be in a folder called enigma2

just make sure the folder is enigma then the 2 files. not Enigma - Enigma - Files.

The box is a bit picky with flash drives. Which are you using?

If that fails go into spark, go to plugins, select start enigma2, pick the path of the files in the browser. Select upgrade.

i cant do enigma, it wont leave me do it, spark is my only option

ok, i tried that but i got this...

The other method is to boot into Spark, go to Plugins and then into e2.upgrade plugin. If you don't have the e2.upgrade option, you'll need to DOWNGRADE Spark to 1.2.51e

In there click OK on the storage/c and navigate to where you have the enigma2 image stored (so you can have multiple images on a usb key, in various folders), then click the rec button to SELECT

The press the red button to Upgrade

Reboot as per NUTZs' down to step 5 but after getting ENIG, just press the centre OK button on the box front panel and it will boot into Enigma

A usb key. it makes no difference which usb key you use if you use Spark and the e2upgrade plugin method

I couldn't do it with one key, Copied the files to another and worked first time.

Format the key and start again.
