    Haha, seen that alright.
Welcome to the barren wasteland of the gadunky forums. Ha, you could of at least registered over on retrovia, at least we've a little bit going on over there :D

Anyway, I'll be sorting out discounts when I've more up for sale. I've not put anything in place yet but it'll be something along the lines of most posts and likes and that sort of thing on Gadunky and maybe retrovia will get you credit to use on the eBay store and eventually in the physical shop when it kicks off.

And of course there will be a normal discount for A&R regulars like with some other online stores.
It doesn't mean a lot now but when I've a few thousands items up it'll be more interesting.

Ready Steady Go is the ****ing hardest last level in the history of gaming. Six or seven years later and a whole console later and it has lost none of its power to infuriate :(

Hands were never meant to spin virtual wheels that fast!

It always reminds me of Vienna, namely it's the only time I ever broke something from a fit of videogame induced rage. I ****ed the stylus across the hotel room and managed to break the nub off the top of it because of that level.

I found the best way to beat the level is to calm down, the most important parts to get right are the parts where you follow the ball with the stylus. The trick is to take your time following the ball and remember you don't drag the ball merely follow it. I found most of my mistakes were because I was doing these parts too fast.

Thanks to an accident of birth I don't have rhythm.

One of the more challenging parts is when the notes seem to follow a different part of the rhythm for a few seconds near the end of the first section. It completely messes with the timing. And if you miss one, you've missed them all, and that's enough to at least half your health bar, if not more. And it's almost impossible to recover from a mistake in the level :(

What I love about those games is that you consistently get better the more you play. The first few times you play that level it feels genuinely impossible, but you slowly but surely get better. Not necessarily progressing further continually but getting through the seemingly impossibly tough early parts almost automatically after a while. Maybe my favourite DS games of all in terms of pure gameplay.

Yeah you start to get to know the pattern and it feels great when you finally nail that song!

It's definitely a candidate for my favourite DS game, but man that level... Given it around ten-twenty gos today and I can get up to the three dastardly spinners in a row, but it all falls apart trying to get that :( The extended 3DS stylus is helping just a tad.

Determined to finally put six years of defeat behind me. Have said that many times before though in relation to that song...

The most annoying thing about that song is the unskippable intro. My advice is try again tomorrow after some sleep. Your mind will be going through the motions of your failure today during your sleep and you'll be much better at it tomorrow.

I found once I got to those spinners it was plain sailing.

Also I hope you are playing as the girl cheerleaders... otherwise your in for a nasty surprise when you discover the extra difficulty level.

Not retro but is kinda Japanese, I just sold a painting of a Japanese suburb street, and painting I only finished last night, for 250!
    Happy Days!

I can't post the painting here as I am at work and my phone can't do that!

Now, what to spend it on!
    A Galaxians cab?
    Pay the household charge?
    Buy a Vita?
Pay my son's school "voluntary" contribution?
    Buy a 3DS:XL?

I can only infer from that that you've never attempted the final stage of Ouendan :P

They see me trollin', they hatin' ;) The actual painting is very impressive though, well worth the 250 for the buyer!

Also, on the topic of Ouendan, iNiS released a new iOS game yesterday. Unfortunately, Square Enix were involved: http://kotaku.com/5944715/the-most-diabolical-aspect-of-squares-demons-score-is-the-hellish-hidden-cost They really need to cop on their pricing structure for apps is farcical.
