To be honest, I don't reckon it would have been worthy of those scores even then. It's not a bad game, but it's not amazing either. I played much better FPSs in that gen.

Does Atavan have no mates to text with these drunken outbursts?
    Are we all he's got?
    Does he need an intervention?
Should we use pins or go straight for ECT?
If ECT, will it be at 50 or 60hz?

Anybody ever figure why you get immediately addicted to the likes of Steam, XBLA and PSN as soon as you download your first game?

I figured it was an excellent solution to mid-range/indie titles not finding a retail home, but then you find yourself buying Sonic Adventure 2 Battle,
and you've really got to reevaluate the choices you've made in life.

I was the same - downloaded Sonic Adventure off XBLA after reading the debate on it here. 4 euro was too much.

Probably has something to do with the cost - priced for impulse purchases. That and the ease - as gamers, we are inherently lazy, and owning a new game without having to stand up is probably a stronger motivator than we care to admit.

Hahaha that's brilliant! Very true too.

Speaking of Steam - has anyone played that Deadlight game? Came out last year sometime I think but only heard about it recently. Cross between Flashback and The Walking Dead. Not too bad so far.

Article and comments don't make for very pleasant reading: http://kotaku.com/5979362/europe-ungrateful-for-slower-more-authentic-version-of-balloon-fight-on-wii-u

Europe Ungrateful for Slower, More Authentic Version of Balloon Fight on Wii U

Is it wrong that all I took from that was "mmmm, classic NES/SNES games. Mmmmm"?

Read the article and the first few comments...now my eyes are bleeding. Had to close the window.

Sure ya know, it's all for the sake of authenticity

Nintendo should have gone one step further and only allowed those NES games to be carried over an RF signal.

The last time I had a love affair with whisky I woke up at 11am the next morning naked from the waist down on the floor of the bathroom cuddling the toilet.

    True story.

Just fell victim to a full-on save corrupting bug in Virtue's Last Reward :( And just as the story was getting really, really interesting. Seems to be a major issue with the 3DS version of the game. Around six hours of progress lost - hopefully will be able to skip through a lot of that relatively quickly, but it's an absolute pain in the arse.

Anyone who is playing, do not save when you are in the 'PEC room' puzzle.

You really do hate everything Japanese with a storyline don't you? :pac:

I wasn't a big fan of Trauma Centre myself. Was a novelty to start off, but I got bored very quickly and moved onto something else.

got a micro usb adapter for my nexus 7 so can use the ps3 pad on it, no fiddling around or nothing just works as it, some keys need remapping on emulators but other than that is flawless. Yay for running games without the virtual gamepad overlay and a clean screen, alll the retro gaming, the touchscreen works fine on most games but stuff that needs precise movement its a bit cack, diagonal jumping on fighting games and the like. stuck all the Marvel/Capcom fighters on the ps1 emulator, and Resi, FFVII and MGS :D

Its mental to think that you can fit a massive gaming collection on one device, and in a few years time we'll prob have ps3 and 360 emulators, crazy stuff.
