Most of the boards.ie admins are men. Therefore I assume you were the yoghurt pot and not the spoon.

Were you the hooker to their coke?

Sonic Racing Transformed is amazing. The levels are all utterly insane but some how you're still able to keep track of it all.

It's a grand old game, let down by one or two missteps. Namely the absurd difficulty of anything above medium (
you unlock another frickin' one when you finish the main game - hard is hard enough!
) and the fact that Shadow the Hedgehog is in it above several considerably better Sega characters.

Other than that, it's a lot of fun. As I've said before, there is however something inherently creepy about the fact that they morph NiGHts into the vehicle rather than the driver. Weirdest looking car / boat / plane ever.

    Ah sh1te,
That man was, along with Sagan, responsible for giving me a love of the sciences, particularly astronomy, cosmology and astrophysics...
    A great man.

Gamesmaster is just an unfortunate glitch, we'll say no more about it....

Saw The Hobbit earlier. Really disappointed :( (which inevitably means everyone else on here will like it).

There was one scene basically set in Blighttown from Dark Souls, which was strange.

    :D

For the last few years, its a case of years long build up & hype = inevitable let down & disappointment

At no stage have I been looking forward to this and not on iota of ore-release material or interviews have ignited my desire to see it. The ads look particularly poor.
What is it in particular that you dislike? Empire only gave 4 stars a d that's telling given there love of Peter Jackson.

Mostly that it was ridiculously (inevitably) padded and the film - at least on Cineworld's new (ahem) "IMAX" screen - looked absolutely appalling. 48 FPS is interesting, although this was not the film to introduce it with. More detailed thoughts here.

I'm sure plenty will like it, but overall it really is Peter Jackson being far too indulgent. The man needs a serious crash course in pacing and editing.

Gotta hate that moment when you're wrapping christmas lights around the curtain rail, lose your balance, grab onto the rail for support, pull the rail out of the wall masonry screws and all, the curtain tumbling down and bits of plaster spewing forth all over you.

That's what I get for wanting to be festive :(

    New Space Hulk game announced:

I had the original PC adaptation on some compilation disc that came with Zool and a few other games. Good times, especially when you opened the ship door and everything started getting sucked into space. But it was turn-based, so you could run away!

Pretty much all my fears confirmed there, the two biggest being the inevitable bloat and the shoddy effects, which were all ready apparent in the pre-release material.

Well, if the film does turn out to be a disappointment, I just hope to Zeus that I don't have to deal with the whinging, moaning crowd that I've had to put up with for Star Wars fans.

Maybe you should resign your post, its obviously too stressful. Let someone else take the heat Mr. Lucas.

How did you ignore the fact that the lead actor is also Tim from The Office? I can't take the chap seriously as Bilbo.

Pretty much exactly this! I couldn't believe it when I saw the trailers.

Oh he's Doctor Watson in Sherlock these days.

But is there a scene where he puts Smegol's stapler in some jelly?
