i told him i was trading in 3ds only to the manage and there was no mention of traded in game just saying

guess ill find out launch day if he does mention a 3ds game im not going to do it

dont bring in a game or do have it in your bagpack just say simple like me i like to do the deal trade in 3ds for 3dsxl for 99 worked for me

Just bring along the cheapest game you can get that's on the list 2nd hand. Pilotwings holds it's value. Sonic Generations does not (hell, I bought it new ins Sainsbury's for less than Smyths will give me for it trade-in!) and nor does Street Fighter or any of the Ubisoft launch titles. If they're not fussy what the game is, why give them something valuable? The difference between the 2 deals (trade with game vs trade without game) is 30 quid. So the cheaper the game you give them is, the better value you're getting.

BTW if Sonic is on the accepted list and you're thinking of trading in something better, call me

I'm hoping other shops will have better trade in deals than gamestop 99 plus a game is a bit much considering the price difference between the 2 versions. My 3DS is one of the ones where the bottom one leaves that residue/scratches so I'm still very tempted.

EDIT: Anyone know how much gamestop accept for trading in a ds lite?

Your woman in the store said you can't 'prebook' the deal, just turn up on the day. Bet symths will have a better deal anyway.

NSMB2 = 17th of August.
3DSXL = 28th of July.

America gets NSMB2 and 3DSXL on the same day, which is August 19th.

There have been a few more hands ons from Comic Con, notably Jeremy Parish of 1up.com who heaped praise on it. Have made my mind up so and am just going to buy the sodding thing when I have a few quid spare in September.

the regular 3DS bundle I was looking at came out at €180/€190 so a €70 premium on the XL, I think it's probably worth that, the bigger top screen looks pretty awesome.

you get 3ds XL for €99.99 when you trade in your 3ds plus one game

you get 3ds XL for €149.99 when you trade in your DSI XL

you get 3ds XL for €159.99 when you trade in your DSI

you get 3ds XL for €169.99 when you trade in your DS -Lite

in gamestop only

other game stores only accept 3ds as trade in as offer
