How Long Do You Shower For?/How often?

On Derek Mooney last week they were talking about the length of time which one showered for and some people it appears only shower for 2 minutes. I don't think you'd be clean after 2 minutes and effectively IMO you'd be wetting yourself but not washing yourself.

I usually shower for more than 10 minutes, which supposedly wastes more than 150 litres.

But afterwards I'm actually clean.

So how long do you shower for?

10-20 mins depending on how much of a hurry I'm in. The guy that installed the shower told me that more than 10 mins use at a time will burn out the motor. I didn't believe him but then the first motor only lasted 6 months.

About 10 minutes. Hair needs to be shampooed, then shampooed again, then add conditioner, then exfoliate skin, shave legs and armpits, then moisturizing body wash, rinse out conditioner and somewhere amongst all that I have to badly sing a cr*ppy song very very loudly.

About 25 mins at night to wash my hair etc and 15 in the morning to freshen up, I have to shower twice a day because I work in a hospital, and it's filthy.

5 Minutes?

Between 2 and 5. Have feck all hair on my head, so that doesnt take long to wash! Bit of showergel all over the body, rinse away and done!

on work days 5 - 7 minutes - that gets my hair washed also.

on weekends a little more, time to exfoliate, pamper, treatments, etc.


Sometimes I envy people with no hair - they are in and out in a couple of minutes.

You should do the hot/cold therapy. Blast with hot for a few minutes and the same with cold.

About 10 minutes, but if there is a lot of extra hot water and I have the time I like to space out and lean against the wall staring into oblivion while water falls onto my face.

Water on, wet hair, apply head & shoulders, shower gel body, wash off.

yeah 2-5 minutes or so. What the f*ck you would be doing for 20 mins is beyond me. I can understand with women to a certain extent what with all their procedures etc, but my brother used to spend half an hour in the shower. Even if he's jacking off that's a long time.

I'm at about 5 minutes I'd say for regular showers, when i've to wash my hair though, it's probably close to 20 minutes. stupid long thick hair :mad: I'm sure my housemate does be cursing me when that happens. but then he leaves the shower running while he's on the toilet before he gets in, so he can fup off.

Ha, I was thinking about this after getting out of the shower this morning.

It literally takes me less than 30 seconds to wash my hair and less than 5 seconds to dry it.

Usually around half an hour, but I clean everything and shave off all of the stubble when showering too. I'm very picky about my stubble too, so that takes up a lot of the time. Not to mention that it keeps bleeding because I've recently shaved off my old beard.

If I didn't shave in there, I'd probably just be ten minutes.
