It's all music, whether you like it or not doesn't take away from the beats and melodies that create music. :)

If anything, at least Nirvana played instruments rather than generating them on a computer! :p

You wouldn't be the first and you won't be the last. I am amazed at how many other bmws drive past and stare but never pull up and have a chat. If I drove past a group of them parked up I would have to go up and have a chat and a nose :o

Had exams in tallaght yesterday and today, plus a funeral yesterday and a childs birthday party today in sandyford. So since yesterday I've gone Balbriggan--tallaght----sandyford---Balbriggan, and Balbriggan----tallaght----Balbriggan----sandyford----Balbriggan.
Fairly sick of the m50 at this stage but it was nice to throw a few miles on in the car. Plus today was the last exam, so school is out for summer!!!

Thank feck for ABS, just narrowly avoided knocking down a young cat, silly thing eye balled me instead of moving, was doing 30mph and had to slam on and was able to steer around the thing to avoid it, it moved eventually but if I had stayed going straight on I thing 'twould have been squashed, wouldn't like to knock it down. Have only killed a pigeon so far in 12 years driving.

I drove to work before 5:00 in the morning and last week a fox jumped out in front of me while I was doing 100km/h. Thx **** it was empty road so a fast jump to the side was possible. I have to say I did not needed a cup of coffee at work after this, I was wide awaken...

I've never hit any animals while driving, had to jam on once in the Polo when I rounded a corner at night to be met with a feckin deer! Jammed on, couldn't believe the polo stopped, it had no ABS after all.

I drove over a freshly knocked down stag overtaking a truck at 130kph at half 4 in the morning last august. You should have seen the state of the auris that hit it! Got away with a popped off bumper which popped back on straight away

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,844 ✭✭✭Jimdagym

A dog hit me once when I was driving!
Was going by the estuary in swords and I was tracking it coming towards me. Thinking, he is gonna hit me. Fecker ran into the back passenger door and dented it. I was definitely doing over 30 miles an hour.

Was that when you were on the way back from a concert or something?

I have never hit any animals but a bird flew into the grille and got stuck there, a crow tried to stand on the front arch of the same car and scratched it but one of the worst experiences of my life was only about a month ago.

I was waiting for a friend to come out of his apartment when a woman drove into the driveway and ran over a cat that had legged it off a wall just as she pulled in. The poor thing's head was crushed and its legs were still moving as if it was trying to run. That lasted about 2 minutes but will stay with me forever.

Thanks for that mental image mate, I also think it will stay with whoever read it aswell.
