Had the BM step out on a roundabout:eek:, all my fault and it was only a tad, still getting used to RW drive madness!

    Poor diddums!

It's due to piss tomorrow - find a T-junction in a quiet estate, turn off the traction and plant it. Best way to learn how to handle a RWD. ;)

EDIT: I'm only up the road from you, call up and I'll show you how it's done in a proper beast!

Whats peoples thoughts on all-weather tyres?
Does anyone bother with them or just jam on summers?
Summers for me, although I found Semperit decent years back, they were a rain tyre iirc, whatever that was.

I've only ever had summers myself, never really had a problem. Dont think I will stop a winning formula.

    Cheers.

The 8 is back on home soil and singing :D

Brings a smile to the face when I drive her and some of you will know that's not a trivial task. (think Clint Eastwood in Grand Torino face as wittily referenced some time ago on here)

Still, she sang through a fair gulp of fuel on the way home...

How does more room in the back have anything to do with listening to Nirvana? :pac:

Got some real bad news today.............

One of my best buddies who is also my mechanic has had enough and is planning on fcuking off to the states in the next month. He's ex-BMW and a top mechanic, a fixer rather than a fitter. Like any mechanic he spends most of his time working on Golfs and Focii so is happy to work on the 7er and especially the T/A. His brother lives in Cape Cod and has a tuning shop there so he will be in his element.

I reckon me and ND will be coming really well acquainted in the not too distant future!

Losing your mechanic is worse then losing your woman. Sure you can always go back to Pamela handerson when there is a need, but finding a decent, non robing, hard working honest mechanic is part of male existence.
