Ya i know, I just don't want to make a balls of it! Would be an expensive mistake if I didn't like it! I'll take a good while to have a think anyhow :)

Might be a stupid suggestion but, you could maybe buy red & black plastidip and do your own wheels for some idea of how it might look? and sure you can always peel it off anyway.

Nope, would be looking to do it today/tomorrow though I'd say. Probably today due to the meet on Saturday, would be best to have it for then if at all possible.

I was waiting on one person to appear in work because I know he wants some as well, but good news, he's standing right in front of me, so I'll sort it today.

    You want any?

Front grilles, front splitter, lower lip, front fog surrounds and side badges.

Finish is grand, the grilles and fog surrounds have been done since last Jan/Feb and still look perfect. It lasts better than people think it would in my experience.

Lads, is there any point in washing car in rain? ( stupid question ). I doubt I will see any nice day for good wash and polishing...

There is if you've got nothing else to do, don't have to worry about the shampoo drying on the car, don't have to dry it afterwards. Just remember that it's going to get manky on its first drive though :P

    How're ya feeling today anyway?

Nonsense, due to top gear people think that the steering wheel is going to jump out of your hands and fly out of the window. Unless you giving it full beans on full lock in the dry coming out of roundabouts you wont have any major issues.

Yeah pretty much. I've only ever had it once or twice when coming around onto the beginning of the M50 from the M1 end and flooring it in 3rd. Even then it's just a matter of holding the wheel a little tighter and maybe an ever so slight counter steer.

    The OPC though, fogetaboutit!!! :pac:

I just would like to give a wash at least. No polishing. As car starts to look too "manly".

I am alright today, cheers, calmed down. All I can do now is just work and see how it will end up in the end. I am still getting wages, which is enough to pay rent, insurance and petrol, from my account, but if I want something for myself I will have to take it from misses shadowhearths account.
Ah well, could be a lot of worse. People are in damn worse position then I am, I should be happy.

    Yo

Rather vague mechanical question but pipes that feed into a radiator in a car that are rusty.... does anybody know what these pipes are feeding, would be it coolant / oil / sorry totally clueless here. I

I want to gauge what they are so that I can try find out how much they would be to fix.

Car is a Toyota and passed last nct in May 11 and is nct until July 2013

Any pipes connected to the radiator are usually feeding coolant.

In your vast experience Marlow are replacing these pipes a big deal? As in tough job / expensive?

My back end stepped out going around a small roundabout in Clontarf this morning, luckily instinct kicked in and i corrected it before i had time to think.

Think i will be getting pair of Vredrstein ultrac's for the rears soon. Currently have Michelin PS2's which have been wearing very fast.
