Anybody that uses cable ties on a race car for anything other than tying up cables should be shot.... That is all

I love a good cable tie bodge job bumper repair if I'm honest.
Cable tying components to boost pipes isn't ideal though!

Yeah that's not cool, anything mechanical that really has to stay in place should not be trusted to a cable tie.

The black one is the only one that is an improvement! Still wouldn't drive it.
Never liked micras... also you never see that style Micra outside Dublin!

I wouldn't drive a micra either. I just like the way people on the forum splashes out money on a micra. But sure what ever floats their boat.

I wouldn't be a fan of the Micra's either. Great nippy engine in them and that but I just wouldn't own one. Saying that the K11 does look better then the K 12 & 13.

A neighbour of mine has a beautiful looking clio. Similar size and price bracket and looks so much better than a micra could ever look.

Yes, I agree it seems that each model get worse looking IMO. I really like the K10 though.

Same price bracket? really? What year is it?

Was heading down the R132 towards Balbriggan when we encountered an eldely woman inching along the hard shoulder...... in the wrong direction. Not quite sure what she was trying to do.

Ironically I was at a 21st too this evening, also non drinking... Saw embarrassing photos, ate lots of cake then disappeared when the party went to the nightclub! Got a pair of trousers too :pac:

Keeping it motors related, driving home I'm still getting used to a normal ride height car :o In 2 minds to lower or not. I miss the rail like handling of the van... It'd mean I'd have to get new wheels too, an expensive affair!

I had the police following me for 8 miles tonight... its so hard to stick to the speed limit perfectly without cruise control!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,729 ✭✭✭✭CianRyan

I always find myself about 5kph above or below the speed limit, it is pretty hard to stick perfectly.

As for cool small Nissans, they don't really exist other than a Nisma Cube or the new turbo Tiida, it's actually meant to be pretty sweet.
    cube23.jpg

They've always been better at big power GT cars and of course the S chassis cars were brilliant as well.

    *lusts for a factory fresh 180sx Type X* :(

Sorry Cian I'm just not feeling that Cube car. But each to their own.

    Whaaat? It looks awesome!

Well if you can get into this then we're alright. :)

Worked on the front panel of the Spider yesterday using clay bar, AG Paint Renovater, Gtechniq nano polish P1 and AG HD Wax. Looks really good in my opinion. The colour is much deeper and many surface scratches have gone. Great stuff.

Also near certain I drove past pred racer yesterday morning in Sandymount. I passed a 2008 black 159 exactly the same as his on the way to Balbriggan.

    Wasn't me, I'm in France;)
Maybe my uncle decided to take my car for a spin (if he did the dpf is probably fcuked now :D )
    Was it a Waterford reg?

What's the story with DC shoes stickers on cars (mostly vw)?

Is it a scene thing, or the modern equivelant of a 'no fear' sticker?

Can I get a 'hush puppies' sticker for the jag ?

Dubarry or Clarkes might suit you better.
