Would anybody consider 116k miles high for a 1999 1.6 Focus ? Don't know about the service history though.

On this again, anything to look out for with these ?

I went to pay for Diesel earlier and my card bounced.

I had to ask for my payslip to be posted out as I was nowhere near the office and still no sign of it.

I'm growing very tired of this.

In fairness, the owner was quite understanding. :)

It's ridiculous I was understanding in the beginning thinking ah sure they said it will be fixed over the wknd. Then it was early the next wk now we are there they are saying end of this wk early next wk. I'm holding out hope!
I'm paid monthly & was suppose to be paid on 22nd June, still waiting & going to the UK on friday til monday :( It'll be my next f-ing payday before I get last months at this rate. I'm already owed money that I've been waiting for & I can't even get that/ now.

/Rant Over, from a very annoyed Jemmy

There isn't alot that goes wrong with them, but there are some common faults that are easily fixable.

Have a look here for some common meachanical faults: http://fordfocusworld.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=74&hilit=common+focus+faults

Check the body panel gaps, particurly around the front end and wing for evidence of accident damage. Under the wing mirrors can rust due to chaffing when the doors are opened / closed. There is a fix but means removing to rectify it.

That's all I can remember for the moment. :)

Jem, I literally got my wages in the last half hour (showing on online banking), so yours might be there now too. If not, they're getting there. Big weight lifted off my shoulders as I was trying to figure out how much petrol I'd be using in Norway. Think petrol is about €1.90 a litre there

Been in Norway a few years ago, beautiful country. But be prepared, the most ridiculously expensive country I've been in, for every single thing. Surprised petrol isn't nearer 3 euro tbh.

Well it was 2006 when I went, but even then most pints worked out between 10-14 euro depending on what/where... Food isn't great and also around 20 for basically anything.... Even the supermarkets for frozen pizzas and cheap things are an absolute joke. I'm sure jenizzle knows this already but I'm just warning incase, cause you would get some shock!

Oh just checked, they have balanced out the debits but not the credits yet. Fingers crossed I just want to figure out whats there between car parts & labour costs, tax it, usual bills & crap.

Think I need to win the lotto, just a small amount would do please, between 1-5k I'm not fussy! :D:p

I am prepared! I'm going to Stockholm for a few days first, then going to Oslo before collecting a car to drive around for 5 days. My plan is to stock up on the free brekkie from my hotels and head out driving for the day. I'm also bringing vodka from the airport and more is being delivered for me :D Don't really need anything else :pac:

So I asked my woman would she like to go to the states for a week in Dec for her 40th birthday and do a bit of shopping for Christmas. She said it will cost too much money and in the same breath said I should consider getting rid of the 7er. Then I was told to paint the ceiling in the bathroom.

    I'm not even married a year! :(

Thanks for the sympathy lads but I think she was just having 'a moment' (probably had just checked the bank balance more likely). :D

Anyhow, all is good - the dinner is on and she went and got me a couple of beers while I was doing the painting! ;)

She ain't so bad after all! :)
