Just recieved my Russian 91% to replace my broken Kafun Lite.
Looked high quality on opening but the piece below the deck is too long for the screw so it's physically impossible for it to make a connection, terrible design.

Was left with enough spare parts to fix my Kafun Lite though so it worked out alright in the end. Its the last time i'll be looking at a clone of anything though

Just ordered a Kanger SubTank from thebestshop... cant wait :)

No extra coil heads available on their site, but hopefully I can put some cotton in the included Pre-Built RBA coil 1.0 ohm and get it running on my iStick.

Me too! Man that thing is gonna look odd on an istick! May look ok on the 50w istick when it arrives.

True enough Alan, tis supposed to be HUGE! I probably won't bring it to a pub for that reason. Anywhere else, nobody would be asking about it, so it wouldn't bother me.

Must try and source some Japanese Cotton next.

I've just ordered some of that, see what the fuss is about with Japanese cotton.

I like Cellucotton but wish I could buy the actual box of it rather than bits of metres in baggies.

If you do't like the size of the sub-tank hold tough,sub-tank mini on the way.

Cellucotton is on amazon uk, 5 pound for 40 ft or 30 pound for 1200ft

Paste these codes into amazon uk B001BKY3B0 for 40ft and B000UQI3MQ for 1200ft

Today I received my first vaping equip.

    Aspire nautilus mini
    istick
    aspire premium starter kit
    isitck 3d printed stand
    g2 shocker
    cosmic fog kryptonite
    wingnuts cherry
A few TBS juices to give them a go
    Some extra coils

    My initial impressions:
I can't inhale straight to lungs, its really harsh.
Not really a fan of g2 shocker, a bit meh
Kryptonite is fantastic, not tried the others
Both kits are pretty nice, don't see a huge difference between the istick and the one from aspire prem kit.
Lots of water to drink too
If I want to change juice should I change coil as well as cleaning tank?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 319 ✭✭Allan45121

Depends, mostly i just leave the coil in and fill her up with a new juice, the flavours mix for a while and then you get the new juice coming through.
if i've been vaping a really strong juice like a custard or a strong aniseed juice (scorpions blood :D ) then i'll change out the coil cause those babies hang around for a few tanks of new stuff!!
Sometimes its nice to let he new flavour mix in, it occasionally give you ideas for mixing up your own juice.

I spent my first year 'french inhaling' as that's how I smoked cigarettes and that was what I found the smoothest with the best flavour. But I could only vape at very low watts on very weak clearos (usually cartomizers) and couldn't understand how people could vape at the watts they did.

Recently I've started lung hitting, not all the time and still low compared to most, and so far I'm actually finding it the smoothest way to go. I'm thinking that's maybe why people can vape at such high watts? (if I try a french inhale at even just 10 watts my chest feels thumped. Lung hits aren't a problem at a good bit higher though) I'm thinking now, all things considered lung is the way to go, but it took me a whole year to think this (feck it, I was happy enough with being off cigs) and there seems to be a knack to it.

Do you find the aspire gives a smoother vape at all? A lot of people don't seem to mind but I find the 'rattle effect' of the istick technology to be really noticeable and much prefer a 'flatter' output.

Cant say Ive noticed that at all (I only have an istick for a week or so tbf)

I think the istick stands up very well compared to the other devices I own.

Yeah, it's a great device everything considered. The battery life seems a monster to me. Compared to other mods I have with around 2000mah it just seems to go and go.

I do get a bit annoyed with the output sometimes, just seems to pack a harder punch than some of my other devices regardless of the setting issues. Cloupor did a bit of a ballsy spec comparison on the rattle for the cloupor mini.
    Hope they're telling the truth.

Was just thinking of getting the Cloupour mini and one of the Svoemesto Kayfuns from Fasttech and have only just noticed how strong the Dollar has got to the Euro!

Feck, its gotten a lot stronger :(

    €1 = $1.18

yep. and don't forget PP fees on top of that as well,The $ amount on FT is less because of PP's horrible ex rates

I don't notice any rattle with the cloupor when in use. Then again, I didn't notice any rattle with the iCock.

Just bought some vg in boots naas (glycerine B.P.). €4.99 for 150ml. A bit steep on the pricing considering the uk can buy it for £1.49 for 200ml. Could have bought it cheaper from ezsmoke but then if have to pay for deliv and wait a day. Alright if you only want a wee bit in a hurry.

Yeah... So I ordered the above... And a few plastic tank sections for me Kayfuns.

Seems theres a new postage option? TNT/ NL post for $2. Went with that. Don't know why really as the standard shipping has always been pretty quick all things considered.

Just made my first build with the Muji cotton, really happy with it. Carries the liquid really well, getting excellent vapour production.

Made my wick from 1/8 of a pad so thinking 140 may go far :pac: 1120 wicks?

well I'm waiting a month for my VTC4's using TNT PostNL, their tracking is awful so just wait it out, today they just showed up on An Post but my last 2 orders came within 3 weeks but never showed up on the An Post tracker. so the whole 12 day delivery thing is arse
