The new flavour from T-juice is supposed to be even nicer than RA,too high in PG for me but the concentrates are set to be released at the end of the month.

    http://www.ezsmoke.ie/tjuice-c-4871/557-10ml-t-juice-black-n-blue.html

They were giving it out for free at Vapefest not a whole lot of difference between the 2 imo

I keep meaning to try a few variations of RA. I have Blueberry,Blackberry,Licorice and a few more flavours I think would jell well with it but I'm the master of procrastination >.<

It's just a slow time of year for shipping,
Christmas,Black Friday and Cyber Monday must add a massive increase to the volume of goods they have to move.

If you'll ever be in the market to DIY liquid or you order the larger sized bottles and want smaller stuff to put it in, try this site, they've all sorts of bottles with drippers

    http://homeopathysuppliesireland.ie/index.php?route=product/category&path=130

I've ordered twice from them now and I would prefer the 10ml bottles as the dripper goes close to the bottom(so you can effectively use it for most of the liquid inside) but the blue 30ml aren't so bad either. I even found a way to fill the kayfun lite from the bottom fill hole with it so happy days!

LE: Does anyone know anything about the availability of kayfun v4 on fasttech? I'm dying to try it, looks deadly!

Hana mod style box 50 watt and a kanger sub ohm tank.
All for the princely sum of 6.97 as I had a gift certificate from fasttech.
Can't wait to try my hands at rebuilding.

The only Kayfun i've tried is the EhPro Kayfun Lite + V2.

I find it amazing and dont think it could be improved upon?

I have 4 Kayfun lite clones.
2 are in use daily and one is awaiting a rebuild with the 4th brand new in box.
I since I got the Orchid V4 clones I'm looking at both side by side.
Orchid is winning on ease of build and airflow, they are probably level (or maybe Orchid is ahead) on flavour and for clones the build quality on both is comparable and pretty good.

This V4 is one I might pick up after Christmas, but to be honest I'm in no rush, in fact the Kanger sub tank is the one that has grabbed my attention. As soon as Busardo said the words 'rebuildable' I was sold. I was a bit meh on the Aspire one though.

Just a thought on the clone vs original thing.
I appreciate the original may well have better grades of steel and what not, but really, €120 or whatever its going to cost is just stupidly expensive. You could buy 4 clones for that and not give a flying fk if you broke one (I haven't broken a clone anything yet, in fact the only issues I've had in vaping have come exclusively from original products).
Now if the manufacturers of these things, like the V4 and say the Squape R put a reasonable pricetag on their stuff I'm sure I'd go for that over a clone.
Like if the V4 was €50? I'd go the extra few quid to buy original.
'Wah wah R&D costs wah wah'
I'm sorry, R&D are costs you suck up from previous profits in order to bring a new product to the market, they are not an excuse to slap an extra 50% onto the price of your new gadget.

Not very confident this will arrive for christmas but:

Long Bottom Leaf - loving this as a flavour kick to my Decadent Vapours tobacco flavours (of which I have a lot)!

Grandpa's Cough Medicine - started to love Halcyon Haze's Gins Addiction (so realised I have a thing for Aniseed). Might be similar?

Pchela's Famous Five Layer - heard a lot about this, may be nice after dinner with a coffee!

While I actually buy clones, in fairness most of the clones seem to get released in some cases just weeks after the original which is not enough time to recoup their R&D or manufacturing costs, so they have to price high in order to make any money whatsoever.

It costs far less to pay 50 Chinese machinists to knock out clones and never invest a dime in R&D than 10 Korean/European/Americans, and if they moved operations to a low grade factory in china to cut the costs, people would start complaining if it was even $5 more expensive than a clone. Mods and Atty's are still a pretty niche market in terms of volume.

What the clone market does however do, is make the originals far more desirable to those who like to show and tell.

I see your point but I'm still of the opinion that if the Kyfun V4 for example was €50I think loads more people would buy it over a clone which may or may not be a peice of sh1t. You make your profit over mass sales, not by raping a few hundred customers.

I love it as well but I favour the Elvis which is peanut butter & banana, not as sweet as the nut juice.

    I agree with Didihno.

Yes, a few years back RBAs and RDAs were a very nerdy thing to have and use. The companies had to pay for someone to design the product, for renting or covering the intial costs of a CNC machine, aluminium or steel blocks (which are much cheaper when bought in bulk) and optionally a marketing team since the brand - say kayfun - was unknown at launch date. Now RBAs and kayfuns specifically have a fanbase and much more awareness and use on the ecig market (have a look at google trends for terms like "rebuildable atomizers", "kayfun" "ecig RBA" "cotton wick coil" etc.).
So in terms of today, sorry but innovation like being able to actually fill the tank or access the deck without spilling all the juice doesn't account for a very high price.

I'll buy a KayV4. I'll buy one that costs almost €20, see if it's worth it then perhaps I'll buy the original when it goes on sale, to support the company that made it.

tl;dr version: Kayfun chose between growing in the market share with competitive prices or rewarding their fanbase with a high horse. They've made their choice and so have I.

tl;dr v2: Kayfun is very similar to Apple in terms of business planning. Think of the iPhone if you will:
First version works brilliant, much better than anything else in the market - with it comes a big change in the market and raise of interest. Everyone has something to learn, other companies start designing more like them.

After first version prices keep going up for gimmick reasons like "you can now fill your tank - Such Innovation". In other terms, theirs still is one of the most reliable and easy to use but the price changes are completely unjustified. In the meantime, other companies bring new and improved items to the market at a more reasonable price, see here Kanger Subtank, eGrip, etc..
For the future I'm really hoping we don't get to see fussy shenanigans about only being able to fill it with proprietary kayfun juices :)

I love Gin's Addiction, it's been my ADV for a few months now.

Grandpa's Cough Medicine... It's a bit Marmite, some people love it but it makes me feel gross, it's a weird old-school cough-drop flavour. Wasn't a fan.

It might be something that'd be nicer at lower wattages or something (?), high wattages can provide a little too much whallop, buuuuuuuut... I'm not turning down the heat just to get a taste of it, it's bad enough that I'm limited to 18mg with the Gin's Addiction.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,179 ✭✭✭✭J Mysterio

Yeah, Gins Addiction is awesome. Where are you getting yours? England? Vapourpal here seem to only have it at 6mg.

Northern Lights is kinda similar. Also nice, but doesnt beat GA.
    it makes me feel gross

    :pac:

VapourPal in Ballincollig kiiiiiiiid... Northern Lights is lovely too but it hasn't got that same "wow" factor that G.A. has.
