What are your opinions on the team below? I've 0.5m left in the bank with this team....

I suppose the two main queries are whether Afellay, Ben Arfa and Welbeck will start?

• Mertasacker wont play
• switch St Ledger with Ward
• Afellay??? not so sure. could go either way, might be FF Gold!
• Welbeck has ankle trouble so Carroll will play both matches before shrek is back
• Balotelli will get sent off or walk off
• play Given against Croatia
• Lescotts will play but he up against Benzema, Ribery and Nasri
• Ben Arfa wont kick a ball
• Martin Olsson should start against Ukraine

Snoody what you think of my team?? seems like you know what your talking about.. i left evra out cause france play england and i think the english will beat them well...

I've already made some changes to my team before even going through your points above.

I've gotten rid of St. Ledger and brought in Strinic. Gotten rid of Balotelli and brought in Benzema.

Cech is only in goal because of the automatic sub thingy. Although I think he might do ok. Russia don't tend to score many goals. If you take the 6-0 win they had out of the count they only scored like 10 goals in the qualifiers.

Why won't Mertasacker play?

Also changed Ben Arfa to Cabaye

i might change ibra out for someone. he is playing very deep at the min for sweden but he's still scoring (he scored the swes winner)

Start Cech and substitute him for Given if he doesn't score well. No reason not to really.

Had a look through their qualifying results to see if I could get an idea -- they got no penalties at all, or at least didn't score any.

Russia goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev might be out of the czech match hes suffered complications to his knee injury during training tuesday, liquid has built up in his left knee that he had the operation on so Malafeev will most likely play on friday should Akinfeev fail to prove his fitness. also Zhirkov left the training with ice strapped on his right knee but isnt serious so should be fine for friday.
