I think I saw that alert (was not actively playing the alert); and TR had another alarm clock op for Indar last night.

On a secondary note I had a fun alert on another server this morning (VS alt used for VR tests) were VS won with 96% on the alert (topped out at 98%) :D

    So

NC on ceres and VS on Miller, anyone on either of those to play with.

Also that app lied, I'm BR17 for NC and only had 38 certs.

I'm on VS Miller (NodyVS) in a fairly active VS outfit (Vanu Corporation from PS1 days); usually got people on TS any time of the day with an active squad and if not there's multiple other VS outfits in the alliance on the same TS to hook up with at odd hours.

Got a 95% alert win (we held up to 97% at 15 min to go) this morning while being at a large base with minimal continental population (155% bonus) for a bit over 24k exp (I'm happy enough with that :D ).

Damn I logged off before that! Least we were able to break the tr's lock on Indar and esamir

I haven't been enjoying alerts on Miller all that much recently, due to a consistent 50%+ TR population. There's really little satisfaction or even point fighting for territory when you're outnumbered 3:1 and you can't make any progress because your warp gate is surrounded by 2-3 rings of prowlers with their double gun asshattery. And the whining! The chat channels were flooded with TR kids whining about how Miller was gone to sh*t and everyone else was SO overpowered. Jesus wept.

You must catch the bad hours because NC has been doing quite ok (as in 25%+) lately from what I've seen (with the odd 10%er but all sides get those) but if you want to defect to the true power I'm sure we can make room for ya *hint hint*.

Is this how zergs are born? ;)

What part of "Liberty or death" aren't you getting here? :p Nah, I have a thing for NC. It's the massive calibre weapons and the MAX Aegis shield letting me soak up ridiculous punishment. Had a grand old time earlier distracting infantry, soaking up bullets with the Aegis while allied troops took them down. Also had a really satisfying moment where I was head to head with a TR Lightning that obviously thought I'd make a nice little roadkill bonus. I timed the jump perfectly and cleared him as he rushed me, then gave him two Falcon warheads up the rear for his trouble. Boom, extreme threat eliminated. Hope I can do that again sometime, it looked awesome.

Miller had 71% TR population on Esamir just there. How can that be fun for TR players? There was an alert earlier where the numbers were mostly even, and things were much more enjoyable. NC kept about 30% territory, VS took most, and TR came last despite more numbers. Nice to see the tables turn for a change.

depends on wether is a zerg or a bunch of small squads, and also what the pop is like on the other factions.

One of the ways to win events seems to be keep minimum territory until the last 40 min, then engage in rapid expansion and attempt to cut either one of the empires or both from thier warpgates. Seems to be at that pointthe other factions think your out of the fight, and focus on each other...and may not notice until its too late.

Its a cheap way to win but it works. NC on waterson have similar problems with tr having a huge pop unbalance, yet they win events with just 25-28% of the cont population:eek:

Getting tired of the NC on ceres, it's always overpopulated and there's never a non-german squad around and when there is it's a full platoon going around as one and capturing 1 while losing 4.

Well NC and VS on Miller tends to be outnumbered most times of the day if you want a challenge (obviously VS is much better then NC :P ) and while I don't know the NC side I'd assume they are like VS and have multiple open English platoons running at any time.

Apparently PS2 is going live on PS4...

If they are going on the same servers as the PC users...

It won't be the same servers and it'll be same as with DC online, the SOE side will still handle the PC but the PS4 version will be done by the PSN guys.

either way it's a great thing! bigger player base + more money = more content

It's a superior mouse/keyboard vs. lousy control pad argument waiting to happen all over again.

Actually it's not confirmed according to Brad but it's suppose to improve the multicore support either way :)

Just going by what happened with DC online, the servers with joint up through internal testing but when it went out to closed/open beta and retail they weren't as the Playstation side took over and it was separated from SOE.

Join either MACS or 418 platoons, generally well organised and send squads to dif hex's. only problem is they tend to get the Zerg following them a lot.

Some are a disaster, but I guess that's natural!

PS, what's ur name on Ceres, I'm Odha, feel free to add!

Failed to take 2/3 bio-domes today, the teleporters stop working and E did nothing. We managed to hold one but the VS won in the end. I'm not a fan of these new ones.

Played with 418 a few times and with you I think, I'll add now.

Been playing NC the most but the first time that I've gone back to VS the Miller server is down.

Edit: Now Ceres is down too.

Woodman went down this morning as well (a few min before an alert was ending, grrr) so I'm thinking rolling restarts for some bug that slipped through the GU10 patch.

Like teleports being very unreliable or for me last night where my stationary tank that was park very safely and with no one in it decided to instant kill part of my squad, in fairness the prats where dancing on it.

There was an AA tower or two that had their gravity lift thingies vanish, too. I guess you'll have that with big updates.

Edit: Just had to mention that the brief clip in the YouTube video above where there's an NC MAX line lumbering forward with their Aegis shields up is f*cking awesome.

Most things should be fixed now:
Weapons should no longer be able to get stuck in firing state
AV turrets should no longer have trouble firing at certain angles
Infiltrators should not be visible to IRNV optics at any setting
Fixed vehicles that were missing glass
Addressed a number of weapon attachments not fitting properly
Addressed a couple of camera alignment issues on weapons
Liberator CAS30 tank burster tracers improved
Added missing icon for the T5 AMC
Set consumable unlock sound back to normal
Fixed a grav pad at Onatha Biolab on Amerish
Fixed a few base shield issues at Amp Stations
Biolab SCU notification audio should play correctly again
    Esamir Mani Biolab SCU fixed
Fixed descriptions on a couple of Harasser windshields
And Sarky this one is just for you (don't share it with rest of NC on Miller though; we like you slightly disorganized :P ):

Have run into that a couple of times on woodman, not pleasant to run into. ESF misslepod spam from behind is a great way of dispersing groups like that. Thankfully none of the larger nc outfits have tried it, yet...

I am now a VS soldier on miller server. Seem to be getting our arses kicked most of the time by zergs but i like being the underdog. :)
