Men usually wear black magnums or cat boots. Women can wear any black boots as long as there's no heels

The longer this is going on,the more my hopes are fading :-( Just wish we knew how many in each position, they are actually looking for. I'd heard around 100 PCO's but no idea of the numbers of CO's they will be recruiting. Not sure how accurate even this information is?

Hopefully you will get the call this week Aoine

Does anyone know if we do get travelling expenses to and from Millisle while training ? Thanks

Fingers crossed Ted but I'm really wanting to hold out a while longer for the CO position, but in saying that there is no way I'd turn my nose up at the PCO position!! Not sure where I fall with my merit no, its so hard to judge. As for the petrol allowance, was there not a post in the past week or two stating that it was £0.45 a mile for Millisle training? Again I'm not sure how accurate that information is, or where it came from?

Hey Aoine :) I'm in the same boat as u - passed everything & CTC clearance says completed but have heard no word yet! I rang last week & they told me to call back again this week. I didn't apply for 40hr PCO post but did for all the rest. Am so fed up waiting!! And I think I'd prefer CO aswell but don't know if I can hold out much longer lol :)

I hope you're right about that - this has been the longest, slowest process ever!! Have you started your training yet then Ted?

It came from someone who completed training earlier in the year but I suppose they could have changed it all since then!
I'm also female! I thought there would be way less females but at my assessment centre there were hardly any men!
