Did anyone get a chance to go to that meeting in Ballinasloe last Friday night? Couldn't fo myself but looking on Agriland it seems to have got a good turnout with a lot of the key issues discussed. Whatever good it'll do. Pity Coveney wasn't at it.

Agent rang me today looking for bullocks. I sold heavy over 36 month bullocks 3 weeks ago at €3.55 /kg. He wanted more of them and would even take the 4 year old bullock that he didn't want to know about the last day. I told him to get back to me at the end of the week. Then I sent one good underage bullock to kilbeggan this evening at €3.75/kg ( he had colitis)
