    @BC1987

The question remains, why were you in the overtaking lane but not overtaking anything??

Footage while passing through Tallaght in Dublin from earlier today.

BMW driver was undertaking and overtaking all the way up the N81...
For the love of god, please turn off the image stabilization!

Also, why is the video slightly edited half way through?

I don't see anything wrong with the BMW driving, idiots driving in the overtaking lane...

Are you for real??? The driver was an aggressive lunatic.

Are we watching the same video?

He overtook the jeep, then undertook the drivers who were cruising along in the overtaking lane with nothing on the inside lane...

He then did the same when coming up to the lights, all while indicating, and pulling out while at a comfortable speed

Can you please highlight the 'Aggressive Lunatic' ?

Lane hoping at speed, in very quick succession on a busy road. Where exactly did this idiot have to be that was so important? Chances are the cars he overtook caught up to him at the next set of lights. I see idiots like him all the time.

Definitely watching two different videos then...

get a windscreen mount for your phone with a hole for the camera (eBay, couple of quid) and download one of the mobile apps from your app store. there's several for iPhone and android.

If you like what you get and want to keep doing it, then you can invest in a proper dash cam.

All I really see in that video is two drivers sitting in the outside lane and a BMW who in theory is driving correctly, indicate - pull out - pass - pull in, not really his fault the other drivers are sitting in the outside lane, tbh it's not aggressive, I'm seen far worse behaviour.

I'd say something if he wasn't indicating and his moves were snappy and harsh, but it's clean calm driving

You watch that video and moan about the guy indicating and trying to make progress. Not a word about the gob****es blocking the lanes ??

But you had plenty of time to pull back into the correct lane and then get into the lane to turn right into old Tallaght village, sure you went past the "new" right turn, where Iceland used to be.

Was being tailgated this afternoon for almost 10km travelling at 100km/h. Up ahead I could see Go Safe van parked on left as we came into Ballinalack on Mullingar side of N4.
Tailgater decides to overtake and then spots speed van so slams on brakes, thankfully I'd anticipated him doing so and didn't have to take any evasive manoeuvre

If someone is tailgating you or just looking to pass really your best option is to stay as close to the left hand side of the road and if safe to do so use the hard shoulder just for the extra bit of clearance.

It takes away any chance of road rage or getting into a dangerous position whether the other driver is a bad one or not, it would make the road a lot safer.

You couldn't pull into the hard shoulder a bit and let him on his way? Make it easier to overtake you on that straight

I'd pulled in a number of times and he did not overtake, too buy on phone or reading something on his lap. My left wheels were actually over the broken yellows and in hard shoulder at this point

Okay, so my dashcam didn't save my ass here, but I thought this guy was funny. First he comes out of a lane too fast and makes the car ahead brake suddenly. He then double parks and just looks at me like "Yeah, so what!".

I'm some boards members will say I could have just passed him earlier but I thought he might be stopping for a few seconds at first and then when I realised he wasn't, traffic was approaching. What do you think? Is double parking like this okay for a commercial vehicle? Sorry for the language, I wasn't in the best mood that day.

Why did you not just drive round him?

should have hopped out of the car and nicked his keys and then fecked them in a river.

Should have dropped the keys off at the Garda station just around the corner.
