I see the Aurora is officially out of production, and they are working on the Aurora 2 for release in April. Different IPS screen and different CPU seem to be the main changes. Shame for the early adopters....

Always the way with these things, every few months something better comes out. I would take that April date with a pinch of salt though, as I would imagine it would be more likely June before we start to see these ones shipping.

Which tablet? Aurora? Could be rom related but amn't sure. Check over in the slatedroid forums yourslef. I've yet to check mine since I'm not at home and haven't had a chance to get my hands on a micro sd card.

    Yeah the Aurora.
I looked a bit on the Slatedroid forums alright. There was one person with the same problem but no resolution IIRC.
Just wondering if anyone else here has the problem.
Other than that i'm happy enough.
Screen is great. Can access the market, amazon for ebooks, youtube and google maps work nicely.
One thing I find is when browsing, it's hard to know if a link is pressed- and sometimes it takes a couple of tries.

How do they collect the VAT/duty? Does the postman/courier demand cash on delivery or do they invoice you?

    Hi,

After reading the comments here I pre-ordered the Ainol Novo 7 Elf from Gadgetfreakz last Wednesday. Got an email today from them advising it's on it's way :D have to say communication from Gadgetfreakz has been good so far - I emailed a couple of questions to them before ordering and they were pretty quick getting back to me - looking forward to trying it out :D:D

    Thank God for Opera Mini.
    Feels like a proper Browser.
    Lovely and snappy.

Half-sorted my microsd problem- I can play stuff off microsd now (listening to the Smith's Still Ill while posting this in Opera Mini :p). Just can't copy stuff from tablet to card.
    How bad.

Overall I'm impressed. The keyboard is pretty good. Just wondering about the battery life. Never did the full charge/recharge cycle before using it when I got it- wonder if that matters.

Anyway thanks for the Opera Mini suggestion.
